Just purchased yesterday and the damn plugin doesn't even work. I activate within my FRESH install of WP 2.6.3 and I get a blank screen and doesn't allow me to use my admin panel. Have to clear the CC directory out before I can get back in....contacted support today.....we'll see how well their support is.

It ranks as everything else. As long as you make it unique. You can customize the comments as well, you can create articles based on the info you have and submit to article directories and so much more. One of my niche stores, got 2000 unique visitors because of this plugin, so my experience has been great.

This software is good for pre-populating your blog and making it look like it has been running for ages. As far as content is concerned........it does take content from other sources like Yahoo Answers, article directories, and Youtube, so its not unique content.

You can have the program run articles through the Google Translation method (english to another language back to english), but none of your articles will make too much sense and some will still be picked up as duplicate. If you want unique content, your going to have to take these articles to get them rewritten or run them some sort of article spinner, which usually makes your articles sound like crap again.

It is a good piece of software considering its price ($50 when I got it).

BTW, the image posting feature doesn't work on it for the newer version (software supposed to take keywords you plug in and post images relevant to those words)

thanks for the info! I'd just like to be able to better prune what this plugin will pull up. I was setting up a site on rabbit care and somehow 'vibrators' and everything that goes with them came up in droves.

Try using the more specific keywords Long Tail. Sometimes I have this issue if the keyword can represent two different things.

I did try that. I found that the plugin then pulled more re-relavent info. I even tried to put quotes around the keywords. Didn't work either.

For example, I tried the keywords 'rabbit pet' and I got more info on pets with no reference to rabbits. Out of 100 items pulled, two were relevant.

Not trying to gripe, but unless I'm doing something very wrong, it's kinda useful. It would be nice to have things like the ability to use a + in front of keywords to guarantee that it is incorporated in the post and - to remove things like 'vibrators'.

Did you try adding more dates? for at least a year. Maybe it is a tiny niche not discussed as much.

When I look up the rabbit pet, I get all kinds of answers that are two years old.

but just rabbit brings up all kinds of useful questions, such as how can my rabbit gain weight, should I adopt rabbit etc.

As with any other piece of software like this you need to give it the right input to get the best results. Try thinking about what would relate to rabbits and enter that.

I've just entered "rabbit care" (without the quotes), set the plug-in to 50, set the source as Yahoo Answers and got back 50 on-topic results. Next I tried "dwarf lop" (again no quotes) just as something targetted towards rabbits and got back another 50 on-topic results. Whether or not they are what you're looking for, i.e. relevant to your blog, I obviously don't know but they are bang on target for what I entered.

As Ivana says this is a great piece of kit but it requires some thought to get the best out of it.

For anyone worried that there is a duplicate content penalty then it's very simple to get around by thinking about how you apply the content In fact anyone who's prepared to apply some lateral thought to how this plug-in can be used will be amazed with what can be achieved.

You have to think of a keyword people would type in, but it pulls a lot of human questions with human answers. Just customize and you can build that niche site in a second.

I do hear all that you've all said, but I stand by my comment on the +/-. I believe that to be a fantastic addition and should be relatively simple to implement.

Ok, I tried the same experiment with the 'articles' pull setting. Here's my results for 'rabbit care' with no quotes:

Hmm, I don't see rabbit in any of these pulls. Lot's of care but no rabbits! Results 0/5.

Might be that there isn't 1 article on rabbit care from where this plugin pulls articles. I don't know.

For 'dwarf lop':

No items found for dwarf lop!
(Perhaps the content source had a burp. To be sure, feel free to try again!)
For dwarf lop, I posted 0 new posts and 0 new comments.

Is the only way to find info is pulling yahoo answers? Is that what I'm doing wrong? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but this is what I get.

I don't want to get the Mods coming down on this thread as it's a sales thread (which I didn't realise when I made my first post - sorry Ivana) not a discussion thread so I've pm'd you a link to one of my sites showing a screen grab of some of the results I got the second time around. These are different to the first ones I got because CC never gives the results more than once to avoid duplicate postings on your blog.

The results (50 out of 50) are for "rabbit care" but even the "dwarf lop" answers, although not as targetted, were still pretty good for numbers 51-100.

When you ask is the only way to find information through Yahoo Answers what do you mean? If you go into the management screen and look at the second field down there's a drop down list, which apart from the various Yahoo Answer sites around the world, shows Youtube, articles and files. A list of what's available is also shown on page 2 of the manual.

I have been researching on getting started with blogging and came across Caffeinated Content before and did wonder if it was white hat. I do like the idea of the blog content changing daily - great for the search engines!

I take it that the program is okay for a beginner blogger? I understand it will be used in conjunction with WordPress?

I use CC on one of my blogs and it works great! Granted, I sometimes have to go and delete a couple of the articles, videos, and answers but that is because I use a generic term such as golf. This pulls up info about the VW Golf which has no relevance to the game of golf.

I had the same problem. Disregard the activation code you were sent, log-in to the member's area and use the activaton code listed on the right-hand side & you should be good to go.

Well at least that was worked for me!

Ok, I've done some testing with this plugin and it does have its UPs and DOWNs.

Pulling from Yahoo Answers, can find tons of content, but the content can be shakey. You kinda get what you get.

Pulling from 'Articles', whatever articles is, is not very good. Lot's of irrelevant stuff or nothing at all. (Look at my testing above.)

Pulling from 'YouTube', like yahoo answers.

What this plugin definitely needs:
1. Stronger control on pulls. I really stand by my +/- comments from earlier. Having the ability to specify a must for a keyword to be there or not be there will really help.
2. Ability to choose categories to pull from. Again, can be part of the search criteria. I've used other plugins for youtube that have this feature and it can really help to 'sniff out' great posts.

And not to be totally negative...The upside!
1. Can pull from many different sources. Nice.
2. Its strongest place is yahoo answers.
3. Ability to post into the future and pre-screen posts. I really like that. Did I say that I really like that?
4. It does draw traffic. I lit it up on a site that I've had for a couple of months that is a good niche but I'm just not interested in the topic. I just want to make adsense income from the site. The info it pulled had to be filtered but within 'days', I'm starting to see traffic. I've decided to increase the experiment to another like site and I've pulled content for a year with cc. We will see.

Final analysis, for the price, you really cannot beat it. If these guys could tighten up their searching I'd be giving it 5 gold stars.

One last point, how the heck do I get comments to show up? I retrieve them but they are never posted.

I have used CC on a number of sites and it is becoming one of the first plugins I activate now, especially on niche sites.

I have found the best use of this plugin is to pull content then just manually edit it. that might mean changing a question around, adding some clarification to a question, orwhatever.

I have also had great luck with pulling from youtube and creating an article based on the audio from the video. Just takes a few minutes to type out what the audio is on the video, espeically with reviews of products and what not. Like anything, put in some work to make your site unique to the visitor and you can really do well.

this is an example of a site I have made recently with the CC plugin: Blackberry Storm -

I put that site up for sale on Ebay and had no takers, amazingly enough. Its getting over 100 visitors per day and averages a few bucks in adsense already, and its only about 1 month old. I think I will keep it now!

Hey...'ve had CC from the GetGo. The latest Version is fantastic .....ANYWAY.......

DON'T copy and paste the serial Number on the right hand side when you login and paste it into CC wordpress.... IT WILL NOT WORK....
You must type it in manually and it will be okay. No, i don't know why either. Some people its fine, others have said it don't work till you type it in...it maybe because its pasting a 'space'...dunno...who cares...just type it in..

Also i have been pushing J for an addin for DATAFEEDs ....i think im getting through...i'll keep pestering him.

Sorry, but my notifications were not coming in the mail. So let me answer your questions... It is an easy plugin to use. You activate it, Input the code and you can go to management tab to use it. Very simple! When it comes to data feed, you just input the keywords, make selections and that is that! I am not tech person at all actually, so I love these easy to use plugins

Ok, I still don't like stuff scraped from yahoo answers, but my site, after sitting in space with no content for about a month, I put content on it from yahoo answers and three days later, I'm on page one of yahoo and google for my primary keyword. Not too shabby. Goes to prove those claims of duplicate content aye. NOT!
