These are brand new WPMU blogs....blogs.xxxxx.edu/username - which means you can create them in to anything that works for you.

The EDU domain is PR8....what you are getting is brand new WPMU install...so it will be PR0....however since the blog is already getting natural links from the domain....it's PR increases rapidly (well if there is ever another public PR update)

Smartalex4 was very prompt with her service and everything seems to be legit. By all appearances, it looks as though she has created a student ID # for me at a very prestigious University here in the United States. Not sure how he did this... but I'll sure take it.

The blog is a Wordpress MU Blog and it appears that I have quite a bit of control over the theme selection, links, permalink structure, widgets and all-around general appearance of the blog.This is a real .EDU doman. Not one of those cheezy xxxxxx.edu.xxx domains.

Thank you so much for the seemless service. By her post count, Smartalex4 is new to the WF, but if she continues to offer top-notch service like this, she will be a WF Superstar in no time.

Now, as far as using this .EDU blog to boost my rankings, I am not sure how effective it's going to be. The use of backlinks from EDU domains has been long-desputed on this forum and many others. Some say they're pure gold... some say they're useless. I suppose it won't hurt, either way. Worst case scenario is that it's still a unique blog with a unique IP address that I can build backlinks from.

Another question that lingers in the back of my mind is "How long before the content of these student blogs get spammy from flagrant abuse?" I have already seen one of these blogs with tons of links about online gambling and such. If things get too spammy, I'm sure that blogs will begin to disappear, and perhaps the entire Wordpress MU feature may disappear entirely.

It would probably be wise of you that if you sign up for Smartalex4's service, create your blog and then stay "under the radar" for a while. Post of few entries with no outbound links for a while to build up some credibility with whoever monitors these blogs (there has to be someone moderating these). Then, occasionally slip a link into a post, or onto the blogroll. Please show some restraint, so that we may all enjoy the fruits of this service. Just my $0.02.

Just wanted to add, that the Admins are pretty diligent...so spammy blogs do not last very long...they may be up now due to holidays...but if you are thinking of getting one of these to spam....you are going to be wasting your money.

My oldest blog is more than 20 months old...so if you take care of your blogs....they will take care of you....and as brchap stated...its best to add quality content and then slip in some external links....as nothing beats a high pr low obl do-follow link.

And yes Brchap....you do have a student id #...except you don't have to pay tuition!

Looks like Bradley beat me with the review but I 100% agree with everything he said;

That SmartAlex had my sub-domain on the .edu domain up and running in less than 5 mins of me sending my password. I could not believe he really did it, so I emailed him back and asked if it was legit, he assured me it was. He's obviously got some connection but I expect he won't divulge what it is, I wouldn't!
I have already created a post, choosen a theme and some widgets to customize the blog the way I want it, it will be a while before I start dropping links in my post, patience is a virtue. So far everything looks spot on.

Now my only concern is that these sub-domains may get shutdown over the next few weks because, you know it, and I know it, some wise-arse spammer will abuse it sooner or later with exactly the sort of content SmartAlex4 has advised against, i.e, porn, drug, casino ads, and spam link farm. I really hope it won't happen but as long as the opportunity for abuse is there some people will take advantage of it.

Anyway, SmartAlex4 is provide a great service that does not come along too often. There are others on this forum selling inferior and dubious .edu.xxx sub-domains for 2-3 times the amount SmartAlex4 is asking; this is a genuine xxx.edu domain and is well worth the investment if you are smart enough to realise what it can be worth for levering valuable backlinks from others competing against you.

To comment on something Scorpio has said, yes there are some idiots that post spam or to non-desirable site....and the admins are good at removing their pages (if you look at the main blog page...you will see some empty breaks in the recently update blog list...well those empty spaces are former blogs that did not follow my advice.)

So yes your blog could be deleted if you are foolish or it could raise up to PR7,6 and 5 like some of my other clients have been able to aspire if you have the brains and the patience to do this right.

Well all I can say is that this was "fast service". Blog was created in quite short time affter we got our communications true

Blog is running like said on Wordpress MU.
I, as user/admin of blog have allmoast complete control over the blog. I can select theme, create pages and posts, add links in widget...
All you need to run a blog is under your controll.

Main domain of university is PR8, blogs.xxx.edu has PR5 and your blog will be located at blogs.xxx.edu/user/

If i take in consideration that service was flash-fast and you get to run legit .edu blog, I must say this is worth of money and hope to last long...

Quite frankly it's impossible for a new blog to already be Pr5. Since we haven't had a google update in months....how could a brand new blog start out a PR5? You may want ask clarification in regards to that.

Additionally we are not competitors as I am registering you in a legitimate University database (the same database that students paying thousands of dollars in tuition are registered)....this isn't some random link that is temporarily open to the public.

OK, Let me tell you what NOT TO DO regarding the .edu blogs

Like others i have purchased smartalex4 service, providing .edu blog.

I started posting my posts at blog and i was too happy about it, that is why i got suspended fast

I have posted about 10 posts. After 7-10 days have passed since posting my post i was about to add backlink to it. After few days i have added another link to other post, that was active for about 10 days... I was somwhere in half way adding backlinks when i got surprised... I wanted to visit my blog, but all i could find was message "Your blog was susspended"
I didnt know what is wrong at first, but then i loged in to admin and there was nothing, just empty control pannel.

Im posting this post just to let you all know what not to do in future... You better try posting much as possible posts and only few of them should contain backlinks. This way it want look as link farm, spam...

And once again i would like to say thanks to aley4 for fast response and helping me out with new blog.
