Depending on what you did for marketing in 2010, I have some potentially bad news--you could have done better. And by better I mean you could have made a LOT more money. By offering a discount your customers will happily share a message on Facebook or Twitter - they'll pounce on it like starving tigers. A $3 dollar discount for 1 minute of time is a pretty sweet deal. It’s like getting paid $180 dollars an hour. Bangin!

Now the specifics, are you ready?

What follows is a more detailed explanation of how our service will work:


Our website will have a form. After filling it out, a button will be generated that you can embed anywhere you like. When this “Buy Now” button is clicked a pop up browser window will appear with the following three buttons on it: Share on Facebook, Share to Twitter, and Buy Now. Next to each button there will be text indicating the discount given for sharing a message on the social network and in the case of the buy now button there will be text indicating the current price. Each time the user shares a message on one of the social networks the browser window will reload and the text next to the Buy Now button will indicate the new price. Your customers can only share once on Facebook and Twitter. If they do they will receive a combined discount. After the user clicks the buy now button on the browser pop up window they will be redirected to Paypal were they can pay for the digital product. Once they buy the digital product the browser pop up window will reload and on the page will be a link to the digital product stored on your website!

If they are digital products people would be given the url to a download page on your website after they bought your product. We are also considering the possibility of hosting the files ourselves. As far as services go we have yet to integrate that into our business. Have I answered your questions?
