I've been doing this method for over 2 weeks and so far have generated 75 free members.... but zero paid customers.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have about 20 videos up and many of them are generating 1000 - 3000 view per day. I'm sending everyone to a review page first as instructed.

I'd love to talk to the lady you mentioned that is making the sales. All the elements of a great money making system are here, I'm just not seeing the free members upgrading yet...

What I know of dating sites like these the free option is limited and you can not communicate with anyone. So out of the 75 members a percentage of them will of received a message from someone or wants to send a message but to do that they will have to upgrade to the paid membership.

Also remember that youtube is not the only show in town you can upload your videos to other sites.

Yes, that's what I'm counting on... that the limitations of the free membership will motivated some of my 75 free members to eventually upgrade. I probably just need to be patient and wait it out. Right now I'm not actively promoting anymore until I see what the conversion ratio is going to be.

There are dry spells, but then again AFF does promote to your free members. Want to see how? Just sign up yourself as a free member and watch the offers for sex come in. Now, I have not done this in a while, but the basic idea is to send out profiles of attractive potential mates and have you click on their picture. But when you want to actually contact them you find out you have to be a paid member.

This is also why a "review" site is good. Does it seem realistic? Not unless you are horny as hell. Horny will kick skepticism's arse every time... Otherwise known as suspension of disbelief.

Like I said, I have never tested straight to affiliate for traffic, but judging from those who have, I can say don't do it. Use a review site. Give encouragement, hints on getting laid, etc, but just say that AFF is a great place to do so and you will make sales. Not because you are persuasive necessarily, but because your visitor wants so very badly to believe you. Motivation is key. Hence the sexy videos...

All affiliate programs want that. The IRS forces them to do so and they will report your earnings to them... That part sucks, I know, but blame the IRS not AFF.

The $7.95 definitely because you get unlimited domains. Don't limit yourself to just one domain to save a few dollars.

Yesterday I had my first paid member, I've been promoting AFF since around the begining of Feb. I haven't really done much lately though and I have only uploaded 13 videos and only generated 20 members. Apart from Ebay this is my first real IM sale and its given me a much needed moral boost.
I have also found another method of promoting AFF and looking at my site stats it works!
Time to start making more vids I think!!
