Hi Willylim,

We have a 200 e-mails per hour limit to help prevent spam. Yes you can load videos for streaming. Performance compared to Amazon S3..? I'll take a wild guess that Amazon's S3 service probably offers better performance. The only limits are concurrent connections set at 20. If your account is constantly hitting these limits along with high (80%+) CPU usage then it really needs to be hosted on it's own dedicated server or VM's that can handle it better for fast page load times.

Now it's been almost two hours that I am waiting. What if we are running different advertising campaigns for our website ? Yep - I guess it sounded too good to be true. I signed up when it first came out, and at that time the server was really fast.

Then they moved all hosting accounts at short notice - and it hasn't been anywhere near as fast since.

Stay away from this service it's very unreliable. The servers are down daily now and support tickets are no longer answered, there are serious problems with this service.

Is this webhost defunct??? I have a business site and all business email goes throug there and service has been intermittent and sporadic for days. I contacted through the site and never got a response. I checked their site now and it is down also.

This isn't cloud hosting. Many hosting providers are jumping on the 'cloud hosting' bandwagon - seeing it as a feature that sells - but not knowing how to implement it - or just not bothering. If it was anything like cloud hosting, it wouldn't be down.

At best this is someone that once had good intentions, but has found themselves out of their depth.

I give up here. I've fought this all week and made excuse after excuse to my clients. Haven't even been able to read my emails in the past 2 days so I know there's some nasty ones in there and I dread seeing them. At least I was lucky enough to backup and get most of my own files and my clients but I still have a workload ahead of me to get everything up and running with a hosting company that has never let me down in 3 years of being with them. I am unable to login to my site or freakin cpanel.

I'm pissed and had enough of these shenanigans. Cloud hosting my ass. Proudhosts is reselling Single Hop out of Chicago. I won't even post the email I got from Single Hop, but rather let Steve's reputation live on the merits of what has happened here.

I along with all the other Warriors who have been burned, should have known better!

$3.00 hosting no matter what promises are delivered- is always going to be $3.00 hosting.

Lesson learned!

I have been trying for the last few days to contact Steve in order to move my sites files to another (not three dollar host), with absolutely no response.

This is like a host-age situation. I want out...but have no access.

Now I have a fatal error when my site finally loads (takes about three minutes to load the error)

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/*****/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

I have done nothing to prompt the error other than trying to login.

All my files better be intact when this lame ass host gets his crap together.

I have tried many hosting companies over the years. Honestly can say that hostgator has been the best for the price. Just looked back at one of my accounts I still have there and opened it 2005. Cannot recall any downtime and support has been excellent.

I am finished with cheap hosting offer from the forum here. Just not worth the headaches and loss of income.

I don't think so. The response of the owner to concerns is a good indicator about the general service, but hey, if you pay almost nothing, you get almost nothing.

I wanted to try that offer and therefore need to move 1 single wp-blog-website, and proudhost can not do it. (not cpanel on the host it is now) well, no problem, I would do it, but following along here, the customer service appears to me totally miserable, the server unreliable and the owner unresponsive to people paying him money. Simply not anything I want to make business with.

If that thread would not be that interesting, I would unsubscribe. I hope all the victims get all sites and files off the server and can continue with reliable hosts.

Do not buy this service. I too had to switch back to hostgator. I thought I found a deal, but all I got was a headache that cost me more money to fix than if I had stayed where I was.

Hi, I got the pro package about 5 of them and am now wishing i had not every site has been offline for a week no support and I have now asked 4 days ago to have several of my accounts closed still no response, there support is non existing, i have ticket there since 24th of feb no answer. I got that sick of there hosting downtime that I have now started to transfer my sites to another host. Please don't take up this offer if you want your websites online. I had loaded my account with money which they seem to be taking now I have asked for termination, but don't answer requests for termination. I would say stay away from this host as all you will do is pour good money down the sink hole. This has been my worst hosting experience in 5 years of marketing and hosting. STAY AWAY FROM THIS.
