This does NOT require a plugin and have to do with HTML. Here is an example: give your header/location an id="header" => <p id="header">, <span id="header">, <div id="header"> OR <a name="header" href="">.

And then use <a href="#header">Up to Header</a>. If you click on "Up to Header", you will be taken to the page location where you give it an id="header" (or <a name="header").

2) A plugin that will easily create drop down menu's in my top nav bar. I know of a couple that exist but they seem like a hassle to work with.

There are 3 plugins that have drop down menu and custom menu of your admin backend and front end. They are:

1. DropDown Menu from yellowswordfish.com
2. Customize Admin Backend Menu from ... can't remember at the top of my head

P.S. As far as I know, you can create a custom plugin to filter the post content to add the a different "Unique" id to each link so you can <a href="#id-name"> later... but again, does it worth the time to create the plugin rather than teach the person how to do that?

Regarding the templates, just upload/FTP them to your "wp-content/themes" folder and then go to "Appearance => Themes" to activate them.

There are 2 mailing list plugins in the package:
1. Can send your email/message to a subscriber/author/editor group.
2. Can also send email message to member... but I don't remember the exact description.

Also, if you want to capture your visitors' email, you can input the html subscription form into your TEXT WIDGET .

Of course, there is also a $10-$15 WordPress Plugin WSO that let you do just that and more. Search on the Warrior Special Forum for the warrior username: "Seree".

Heheh, I also have another WSO going, which is about the Auto-subscribe User Plugin that can autosubscribe your new registered users .
