It's a good guide for beginners but it immediately makes me believe I should get an account, do an autowelcome with a link in it and I'll build a list. This could not be further from the truth - getting twitter users to follow links is a game of "softly softly catch a monkey" as this thread hopefully demonstrates... Here's a free Twitter Sales Trick for y'all! Don't get me wrong I like the video I just think it's important imers understand that twitter is not the place to wade in all guns blazing! |

Good post, John. People should know, though, that just 2% of your followers will read any one post - depending when you post and on which day. I've found that one way to get a lot of people to view your blog is to go out and follow people on Twitter who already follow gurus in your niche. They will check your Profile often enough, and if your Profile link is your blog, well, you see what I mean. |

I don't know about you but in my twitter account with around 3500 followers I can't even make twtad revenue, I have posted around 10 useful tweets between ads but all I have been able to make is 58 cents... I think twitter is not that good for marketing anymore...
