I don't know what to do with this. I have a blog hosted on Squarespace since Aug 2005. Used to be PR5 - Googled slammed me recently, banned Adsense for that site but it still has heaps of juice - I can get high listings on Google on just about any post. I have one post that's at #1 and #2 for the keywords and brings regular traffic. Normally I get about 20,000 uniques a week but this week I've had 394,000 unique visitors to those keywords. And they are still coming. 35,000 yesterday. I think the visitors will probably keep coming for a while yet. That particular post has been up for over two years. Always at the top of Google.
There are 55 backlinks on Google and 625 pages indexed.

I'd like to sell this site but given that its PR is now 3 I've not much of an idea what its really worth. All I know is it has some serious juice. Here are the Alexa stats, for what they're worth - U.S. Traffic Rank: 17,362 Check the site out - WelcometoWallyworld

Alexa says 38.5% of traffic is coming from organic search engine listings. My own tracking says "Within the past week, you received a total of 228,792 page views from your top 100 keyword searches.

Can you send some traffic stats, from analytics, not just Alexa, also what 100 keywords are you receiving traffic for...

I would be so on paying you $1,000 right now, just the blog seems pretty sporatic so I would need to know what keywords, what target market, and think about how to monetize it.

Place me down for $1,000, and if you can, shoot me some of that information.

I did that once and got locked out of the account - its hosted on Squarespace and their stats are killer.

That's a boat load of unique visitors. Why don't you try monetizing it another way?

You could use Yahoo ad's or rotate some CPA offers. Seems a shame to sell it without testing other ways of monetising the site. Especially as the visitors are coming with no effort on your part for now.

I know you're looking to sell it but if it aint costing you right now then it might be worth keeping if you can convert that traffic.

You could even sell advertising space through a company like adbrite, let them manage it for you.

There's probably a few looking at it with mouths watering hoping you don't come to your senses.

I had an offer of $1000 a year ago when it was a PR3 and getting 14k uniques a week. You'll have to do a lot better than that. Meanwhile I'll send you a screenshot of the Squarespace stats. Sporadic? Well yeah...usually it lopes along averaging 75k uniques for the month. Uniques for this month (not even 8 days yet) 396k. You should be able to work out the main keyword that's bringing all that traffic.

I think I'd probably run into the same problem with yahoo - nudity, swearing, etc. It has Chitika ads on it but they bring in peanuts. But thanks for the suggestions. It is indeed a "boatload of traffic". Has dropped off today.

Forgot to add. The site has backlinks from BoingBoing.net (PR8) - I was featured twice. And backlinks from The Sydney Morning Herald (PR9)- I contributed to one of their blogs. Numerous other juicy backlinks as well.
