Blogging is huge and more and more people want to know how to make money blogging! Just last week when I was visiting some relatives over the Christmas period we actually got onto the topic of blogging.

It was funny because I wasn't even aware that the relatives even knew what blogging was however they had read about people who were making $1000's a month just from writing blogs! (Little did they know that I was one of these people!)

Well.. I explained to them how it's done since I actually make a full time income writing "blogs" online. So today let me share my method with you and you'll know just how easy it can be to make money blogging.

How Do You Make Money Blogging?

The easiest way to make money blogging is to write a blog and monetize it through affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is where you sell somebody elses product and take a commission. So let's imagine that you owned a blog teaching people how to make money online. You could promote a product on your blog that was a course teaching people how to make money online. You would get paid when a sale was made. When it comes to digital information products the commissions are often high and in some cases 100%!

I personally make money writing about specific topics. I own lots of blogs and websites that show up in Google when people search for specific things. One of the things I like to do is review products in the internet marketing niche. When people search for information such as a review about a specific product my blogs will show up. If the product is good I might promote it and take a commission, or if the product is bad I will refer people to my no.1 recommendation (you'll find it at the bottom of the page).

You can make money in any niche just from writing a blog! Let's imagine that you owned a blog about fitness and health. You could write blog posts teaching people about weight loss and then recommend a product that might help them lose weight. Whenever a sale was made through your blog, you would receive a commission for that sale!

How Can You Get Started?

Getting started can often be easier said than done. It really depends how much experience you have. It takes me literally a few minutes to get a blog set up, but I know for a lot of people it can be a real hassle getting things set up.

If you've got the experience then I recommend setting up a Wordpress blog. Be sure to get some solid hosting so that your website stays online. After that it's all about picking your niche, getting your content up and then learning how to implement the SEO to make your website show up in Google.
