Reserved for questions... Q) Is this a real eNom account? What's the catch? Yes it is a 100% real eNom account. Once you sign up and get your account with our pricing, you can do everything else directly through eNom's interface if you prefer. 100% legit, no catch. Q) Can you clarify the pricing? And what is the process? No cost to sign up. Individual domain pricing can be seen here. Get your account set up, then log in, search for domains, and pay on checkout. Alternatively, you can deposit funds into your account through Paypal or a credit card. This is eNom's site you are depositing funds into, not mine. Anytime you make a purchase, it will be deducted from that balance. Q) Is this a reseller account or a retail account? By default, it is a retail account. If you want to have a reseller account, just let me know after you set it up and I can convert it for you. As a reseller, you are free to set up subaccounts and set your own pricing. If you have clients that you manage web products for, this is a great way to do it! Q) Can I do anything else besides purchase and manage domains? Yes, you can purchase anything eNom offers, including hosting, SSL certs and more. Q) I have heard about all of the new domain extensions. Can I buy those too? Yes, in addition to all of the regular extensions, you can purchase the new ones as they become available. See a list here: Domains |

I really don't understand why you think the place you buy your domain is that important. Maybe I am an idiot, but it seems to me that if you only purchasing the name, it does not really matter what site you buy it from...As long as it is legit and the prices are comparable.

So, does it matter where you buy your domain name? Ask anyone who has lost their business because of an incompetent registrar. People who go cheap because they don't think it matters tend to learn painful lessons when things go badly. I will say this... in my life I strive for no drama. I have been a domainer for over 15 years, and I have been an eNom reseller for about a dozen of those years. eNom is the one that comes closest to being that no drama vendor. They have done that mostly by staying under the radar as a seller and focusing on the client experience. Do a search for other big name registrars here or at the domain forums, and you'll see most have many more complaints, horror stories, bad user experiences, etc. The main exception is Namecheap... which has a long history as an eNom affiliate and to this day is still intertwined with them. I am not saying that everyone who doesn't use eNom will have a bad experience. Far from it. What I am saying is that I believe eNom provides the best platform (and I have used just about all of them), and if you are looking for a stable home for your domain assets, eNom is a great place to do it. And, of course, I can provide a low-cost entry to this amazing platform. | |
