WAR ROOM - Is it worth it?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi,

Just wondering if it's worth my joining the War Room as a COMPLETE newbie or will it just serve to confuse me and overload me with information?

I am definitely going to join in a few months but worried I will get sidetracked from doing the basics correctly.

Any thoughts gratefully received

James

Thoughtfully-asked question.

The War Room is worth every penny IMO. But in the context of your question, yes, I feel it will undoubtedly be distracting. It's like a treasure chest of ideas and strategies -- not good for anybody who suffers from information overload, but brilliant for anybody who can take an idea and run with it at speed.

Invest that small amount and see for yourself. If you don't like it ( rare that anyone asks for a refund) then ask for a refund.

It's an excellent read but if you can't make the entry fee from stuff you've learned in the main forums then you'll probably find yourself massively distracted and overwhelmed.

The War Room is absolutely worth every penny plus thousands more - but it may be a little confusing for someone totally new to IM. I would suggest that 'you get your feet wet' here in this forum first. Learn the basics of some of the essentials and then join the War Room.

BTW - when you are new there is so much to learn that it is easy to feel overwhelmed. I suggest that you tackle one topic at a time. You decide what that will be but some suggestions include: article marketing, affiliate marketing, learning about PPC, SEO, or even site building. My thought is that if you learn one thing at a time you will be able to focus on that topic alone and prevent some of the confusion that is likely when attempting to learn everything at once.

This would also help to focus the threads you read here. Rather than trying to read everything you could zero in on the information that pertains to what your focus is at that time. Then when you feel you are somewhat comfortable with the concept of IM you will definitely get more benefits from the War Room.

The War Room is worth it - especially for someone new to IM.

That is because you can consider every thread, which is moderated and pre-approved, to have valuable information.

On the other hand, in the public forum there is some junk and unintentional misinformation, some people running around with their heads cut-off spouting nonsense - and of course a lot of great information.

The problem is, when you're new to something you are at a greater risk of not being able to distinguish between the valuable insights and the junk, the valuable forum members and the idiots who have even less experience than you, etc.

Do you know how to use the search function?

If yes, then the free section is great for a newbie.

Once you have mastered how to find exactly what you are looking for using the search, move on to the War Room.

You can get lost for hours upon hours if you just scroll the threads (here and in the War Room), but if you search for certain subjects and not get distracted, then it will be worth it in the long run.

It can be like a product that has so much information that you get overwhelmed and it never gets used.

No, its not for newbie, in fact newbiews should not buy anything at all, once they make some money should reinvest in buying worthwhile,
for sure war room is worthwhile, but not for newbies

Hello James,

As others have said the War Room is worth much, much more than it costs.

Consider this, while it can be easily overwhelming as a complete newbie there is a wealth of information inside that can help you to establish a direction for your online business. That in and of itself makes the War Room priceless.

All The Very Best,

Tony

That is an excellent idea Andy. From day one I bought online online products with money I made online. I never even thought of it, but in retrospect It feels good to do it that way. And there is plenty of info in the main forum to make the entry fee to the War Room.

So, many thanks for all your replies.

I've decided that I will set myself a challenge; by using some of the info on the free section I'm going to go down the article marketing route and when I have earned enough to cover the subscription, I'll sign up

Hope to see you in there sooner rather than later! Will keep you posted as to my progress.

It's totally worth it, I'd say.

However, read through some of the best posts here
on the main forum and apply that stuff. When you've
earned the entry fee online, get in there. You'll be
amazed at the amount and quality of information being
shared for free!

$37.00...good for 20 years? 365 days x 20 years = 7300 days...That's .0005 a day... even less if you throw in 5 leap year days...lol

The value of The War Room is beyond money... it's the people and the knowledge which you cannot put a value on. I have been there since the beginning and cannot think of one complaint I ever heard. It's like a virtual candy store for Internet Marketers.

It's like paying for one very decent product and then, at no extra cost, being able to pick from a vast range of other very decent products whenever you like for the next twenty years. I don't visit it every day because there are so many good things there, entire systems even, that I could easily find myself diverted from the current project, but I do visit reasonably often because much of what turns up in there can be of help to whatever the current project happens to be too.

It's a bit like buying a good beer and then being given the entire contents of the pub for nothing for the next twenty years. The War Room is indeed the stuff of dreams

That is a pretty accurate description. I feel like if you're spending lots of money on WSOs then you'll appreciate the War Room b/c many people give away stuff for free.

If not, stick to the regular forum for now, create your basic income stream then invest in the War Room and other resources.

Do you have a basic plan in place to make money online? This is more important than anything else...

No KIDDING! Best 35 bucks I have EVER spent, and like everyone else, I'm not saying hours, I'll say WEEKS, and then some. Dirt cheap and TOTALLY worth it, Allen should actually raise the price (sorry everybody, HAD to say it !

No Allen, please don't, all noobs are going broke as it is, buying all the WSO'S. Leave the $$$ for the creators and once I get over "over-loading", hopefully I can contribute something of value myself.

Sorry, did not mean to rant (p.s. BUY IT). lol :p

Re: WAR ROOM - Is it worth it?

I’ve asked this question in a few War Room threads before and I’ll ask it again here, since I still haven’t received any helpful answers or suggestions so far.

As I can see it, I can only pay for the War Room Membership through Paypal. However, I live in a country where Paypal is not accepted as a payment option. Is there any other way to pay for the mempership? Like with 2checkout, Moneybookers, Google Checkout or something similar?

I know it’s not the main thing discussed here, and if it’s against the rules then I’ll start a new thread.

I’d really like to join the War Room but for me Paypal is not an option. I sent a ticket to the Help Desk about 2 weeks ago, but I haven’t gotten any replies yet. Can anybody help me out here? I'd really appreciate it.

As I can see it, I can only pay for the War Room Membership through Paypal.

However, I live in a country where Paypal is not accepted as a payment option.

Is there any other way to pay for the mempership?
I think the only person who can tell you the exact answer to your question is the admin of WarriorForum.

By the way, if you are new and don't even know what is I.M, you may just want to stay as a normal WF member for a while and learn as much as you can before heading to the WarRoom.
