Right I got a spot and it says 1 day:

It looks like this now:

Then options for edit and delete.

So to confirm I uploaded it ONLY when there WAS a 1 day option.

It is still in pending so from about 8 hours ago - what do i have to do now?

You submitted at the right time. Now you must wait. Right now, the banner design itself is waiting to be approved by an admin (you'll receive an email once approved with a pay link). If it isn't approved within 24 hours, delete the banner and submit a new one again and wait for approval again. This first step takes the longest since tons of banners are being submitted for approval. Also, make sure it meets the design guidelines for approval.

I am getting upset now

From past many many days i am uploading banner whenever i see blank spot however nothing is happening, i request admin to please look into the problem. I need to split test with different banners however i cant as there is no status update for it.

I thought i would write down the steps that you need to do to check that everyone is on the right track.

1. Go to http://www.warriorforum.com/paidbanners.php - Click upload new banner

2. Enter the url you want to send traffc too.

3. Upload your banner.

4. VERY IMPORTANT: Subscription terms: If you are getting a small BLANK drop down i.e nothing is there DO NOT SUBMIT!!!

5. ONLY when you see 1 day etc... in the subscription box should you submit.

If it is blank your ad will go through and just hang there and NEVER get reviewed or it will be deleted.

Think i have got this right, mods let me know if i have it right and change any bits you see fit.

I am following EXACT process from ateast past 8-10 days however still none of the banner is approved/disapproved.

This is the reason why i am upset

Now I have tried to upload a banner for the past 2-3 days and never find a slot open

I have tried different time zones and no luck yet !

I would also like to hear from warriors who have successfully run a banner campaign here regarding - avg. CTR and impressions. I am looking forward to run a campaign over this weekend if I manage to get an ad slot approved.

Hello Carson,
I think you are missing something.If I am not mistaken you are submitting ads whenever you see blank spot. Instead you should submit your ad whenver you see subscription terms..otherwise your ad will not be reviewed.
I am also waiting to upload banners but still couldn't find any spot

I'm just going to put it on the record that the approval times for newly submitted banners is ridiculously slow, at least for me. Something has to be figured out there. If WSOs are as quick as they are (within hours normally) it shouldn't take days to approve a banner... at least imo.

Asked support about this, banners will only be approved when there are free spots obviously so the approval comes to a halt if all spots are full. Also, all banners are in a queue so there could be people in front of you waiting to have theirs approved (since all spots were booked).

Yeah, I talked with support and they told me the same thing. They're queued up, so you have to wait through other ads becoming approved.

Kind of a pain - but meh. It's been five days since I submitted mine, really kills the effectiveness - should have thought about it and submitted it sooner, I guess?

Exactly man, its over 2 weeks for me too.

We, at warrior forum talk about lot of split testing to make higher ROI. No doubts banners ads at WF, are powerful however its unproductive to run same ad every day. We need to do split testing with various banners.

I request WF admin, to have a look.

There may be long que however if it is there and WF have less work force, then admin can outsource "banner approval" to some one, with predefine set of rules.

Even i can get this work to my own team, free of cost, if possible.

Please have a look on this major problem.

It's strange because it is saying slots are available today and I've seen new banners popping up over the past few days, I hope they tell you if it doesnt get approved and don't leave you hanging. I would have thought they would be eager to get everyone rolling @ $100 per day...

2. After you upload your banner, wait for it to be approved. No need to look for an email, or a PM...instead just watch your banner page ( http://www.warriorforum.com/paidbanners.php ). It will say "pending" or "approved" for the banners you have uploaded.

3. Once your banner is approved, wait for an open spot, and submit your payment.

That's it. That's all there is to it.

I have never before booked a forum ad banner and would like to try this out. I have succesfully uploaded my banner (professionally designed and according to all rules) last Sunday but until this morning it was still listed as 'pending'. The 100$ option was on when I uploaded it.

The WF banner system is not explained very well and I can only guess theres a huge queue in front of you waiting to be processed.

The only thing you can do is wait, in the meantime send a message to the helpdesk to make sure there isnt a problem.

Once your banner is approved, you then have to wait for the next payment slot, which isnt always easy to catch. I have a free alert program that can help with this but you need windows XP for it to work. see my post earlier in this thread.

I believe the problem occurs during the times when the $100.00 payment option becomes available...everyone can continue to submit banner, after banner, after banner, until someone uses the slot for the payment of an already approved banner.

Which means during those minutes (or hours) of the payment option being available...hundreds (even thousands) of banners get flooded into the approval queue.

I think a limit needs to be placed on the amount of banners that can be "stored" within the banner area...or a limit placed on how many banners can be "pending review" at a given time (by a single user) to prevent clogging up the system.

I agree, I think its counter productive, cross-advertising.

Perhaps an option could be made where its cheaper if other ads are going to be seen that aren't yours.

Hello, I have never before booked a forum ad banner and would like to try this out. I have succesfully uploaded my banner (professionally designed and according to all rules) last Sunday but until this morning it was still listed as 'pending'. The 100$ option was on when I uploaded it. can someone help please? I am really anxious to try this form of advertising.

I believe the problem occurs during the times when the $100.00 payment option becomes available...everyone can continue to submit banner, after banner, after banner, until someone uses the slot for the payment of an already approved banner. Which means during those minutes (or hours) of the payment option being available...hundreds (even thousands) of banners get flooded into the approval queue. I think a limit needs to be placed on the amount of banners that can be "stored" within the banner area...or a limit placed on how many banners can be "pending review" at a given time (by a single user) to prevent clogging up the system. ~Dexx
