I have a banner pending review for about 3 weeks now... Are the mods taking Xmas off?

I've been waiting 9 days for approval now. Ads have gone down to only 4 at certain times. I read that it can take up to 14 days.

If you just posted your banner and are excited, have a little patience. I suppose that they're giving people who are already buying ads ample time to renew...or they're just keeping it for a few "insiders." I'm looking forward for a chance...

On day 10 my banner was deleted. I followed all of the rules clearly. No explanation was provided. Bummer, I was prepared to spend a lot. I'm surprised that this wasn't handled better. If banners aren't available to everyone equally, why don't they just change the rules?

Igor, sounds funny but truly ain't. But they are humans too and ya I guess that should taken an off ... Have been waiting for like 72 hours while my last banner got approved in like 24 hours :P

How come one guy got 3 banners up... and they are being approved real quick and I gotta wait for over 2 weeks and still nothing?... that's really weird if you ask me :/

I wouldn't bank on it. There are currently 4 banners in rotation at the moment, that means 6 slots are open, yet I have had banners which have been in 'approval' status for over a month.

Just added a banner ad yesterday finally after always catching it when it's full booked and then read this I also noticed new ads appear after I submitted mine so there is either preferential treatment going on or they allow more than ten people to ad there banners and have a backlog
think il just delete the ad and buy a solo ad instead

I was going to purchase a banner slot but then realized that the banners only got 150 clicks -_-....

So i would be pay 66 cents to $1 per unique click if its a decent banner. At that point I rather roll the dice with solo ads cause Ill get a better bang for my buck!

It's going to get even less now, because there's 13 banners up there.. instead of the average 10 :/

I'm wondering that too. Aren't there "11 spots available each day" (as quoted from the admin)? How come 13 ads are up? Anyway... haven't used banner ads in quite a while but thought they might be a good addition of traffic to my next launch.

No Mods even care to reply here, I have uploaded 4-5 banners, all disapproved after 15-30 days even when they were following all guidelines...

No message as to why because the ad doesnt break any guidline at all...

The fact that it is taking this long to go through these banners is HORRIBLE business,
and the fact that you don't leave an explanation as to why it was dissaproved after waiting a full 2 weeks is just sad! To top it off your not even running the full amount of banner ads per day and you guys are losing money!

Oh and btw... can someone tell me whats wrong with this ad.. because it doenst break any guidelines...

Hey Mike, check the size of the banner. Same thing happened to me and it was just because banner was bigger than 10 kb

As soon as I submitted the same banner under 10kb with the same link it got approved in 3 or 4 days

Warrior Forum does not feel the need for a better service.
It is rather sad!

If you are taking $100 per ad, just pay someone $5 to communicate with the Advertisers.

Looked at this over the last couple of years as a possible traffic source. In theory it sounds good. The ad requirements are not unreasonable.

The system would be perfect if first come, first served meant having the ability to book your ad date ahead of time, paying for it in advance and planning your launch accordingly. I get that some large marketers may take all the spots and attempt to dominate the market, if that is a concern safe guards can be put in place to prevent this.

But, when it becomes the luck of the draw the traffic source no longer makes sense.

Swimming up stream is not in my project management system.

The amount of clicks will depend on a lot of things. The day of the week, the month of the year, your banner, etc.

The fact people keep reactivating the same banners over and over is proof enough that these banners can work if used properly. It's up to you to do your own testing though as other people's results are irrelevant to your own.

What would you rather? Your ad getting approved within just hours because there are no other people wanting the ads because they are crap?

The reason you have to wait so long is because there is only a very limited amount of ads and in a lot of cases the people running ads will renew them after the 24 hours is up. This is a good thing because it tells you the ads are working.

If the ads were easy to get approved then all it would tell you is the ads were not worth using anyway.

Use a little common sense guys.

If there are only 11 ads per day and a lot of them are renewed by the same people over and over, then it means the number of vacant spots opening up is tiny. Compare that to the amount of people submitting new banners and yes, you will have quite a wait on your hand. If that's no good then just advertise somewhere else.

Can we decide when our time for banner display start?

Suppose I place an order at 5 pm... and I get a confirmation at 6 pm.. I pay by 6:30 pm... when does my ad start? immideately or the next day?

I have tested linking to an optin page on my own domain, for the same offer as my WSO, but linking directly to a WSO works way, way better. Better optin rates and much higher conversion rates, the social proof from the forum works very well. (Provided you have a great, useful product and people are posting positive reviews of course)

As Will mentioned, each and every product is different so always do your own testing. I track my banners with click meter.

Nope, first come first served it seems. As soon as your banner gets approved you will need to pay for it before someone else may grab your spot. As soon as you pay for it, your banner will go live right away for 24 hours.

Why not make the process like this;

Person 1 submits his Ad for approval - Admin/Mods check to see if the add complies with the rules and if it does then it's approved and put in a queue.

If it does not meet the guidelines then it is noted somewhere (why it's not approved).

If it is approved, then Person 1 is asked to pay $100 - and as soon as they do that the Ad is put in a queue for future spots.

Then as soon as there is a spot in the future (maybe 1-10 days later) their ad will get shown.

My last batch of banners got approved pretty quickly, this one's taking a while. Obviously, the guys are busy, but I was wondering if there's a way to speed things up.

We have been waiting for close to a month for our banner to get approved. We spend quite a substantial amount advertising our threads on this forum and would really appreciate more communication/action when it comes to the banners.
