Warrior Forum Banner Ad Details...

The Warrior Forum is accepting paid banner ads from members only. There are 11 banner ad spots available each day. First come first served basis. Once the 11 spots sell the option to buy will not be visible until a new spot is open.

Note: Please do not upload a banner unless you see a payment term option to select. If the Subscription Terms box is empty do not upload, the system will only delete it if you do. Only upload if you are able to select the 1 Day option.

Check out current running ad/s for examples at the top of all content pages on the forum.

Here's some rules about the image:

* Must Be Exactly 781x76 In Size
* Must Be Clear/White Background With No Border
* Must Be Text Style - Blue, Black And Red Text Allowed - No Blinking, Flashing or Twirling
* Must Be Under 10k in Size

In general - keep it as professional looking as possible. It needs to look like a text link - not a banner.

To submit a banner go to: http://www.warriorforum.com/paidbanners.php

If you don't do design, please get someone to do it for you. If the banner goes beyond ugly it will not be accepted.

Note: Ads promoting other forums, directly or indirectly, will not be accepted.

Note: Be sure to check your spam folder. You will get an email upon approval of your banner and some have reported the message ends up in their spam folder for some reason.

Note: Please Pay Very Quickly When Your Banner Is Approved - Spots Will Not Be Held For Hours On End - It Will Be Deleted And Opened Up For Someone Else.

That's about it.

Thanks!

Allen

P.S. A green banner was approved but when that runs its course no more colors like that will be accepted. The text must be in blue or black...Any shade blue, any shade black...doesn't matter as long as it is one of those colors.

Re: Warrior Forum Ad Details...

Where The Real Money Is

Here's the best tip I can give you about advertising with the top banner on the Warrior Forum...

In every single case I know of, when the banner points to a Warrior Special Offer it makes far more money than if it leads to a web site.

The social proof in a WSO thread is extremely powerful and should not be ignored.

I can only tell you my experience and test results. Yours may be different, but I highly doubt it.

In my opinion the best use of the banner spot would be to use it after a WSO has been open for a day at least. You want some initial responses to your WSO, then send the traffic with the banner.

Allen,

I was wondering what that blue banner was :)... Good Price. I've made up a banner, I'm thinking of putting it up tomorrow. Do you have an idea of what kind of clickage the banner would get on a daily basis.

No idea Caleb. All depends on the banner...

All I can tell you is when this offer was run some months ago the ones who participated wanted me to get it back up asap..

Hi Allen,

Are you interested in good commission offers for the unsold inventory?

Cheers,

Andy

Sorry if I'm missing something, but is this a free service? Only, I didn't see any payment options when I checked out the link (Maybe it happens after approval of banner?).

If their is a payment option I'm missing, I'm assuming that the amount you pay affects the length of time the banner is up?

And to anyone else, If you can't/don't want to design your own banner, I can do it for free for you. Just shoot me a PM.

Cheers,

-Aidan.

P.S: Allen, this site sucks (refreshing change? :P)

P.P.S: No, it doesn't.

Can we link to WSO's?

Hey Aidan, might take you up on that generous offer. Better check just how much this is going to cost first.

100 for 1 day.

500 for a Week.

1000 for 2 Weeks.

2000 for A Month.

As soon as I find whether we can link to our WSO, I'll be trying it for 1 day, tracking and seeing how many purchase from it.

If it goes as well as I think it will, I'll be plunking down a cool 2k. ;)

Okay, no worries mate. When you decideyou want me to design your banner, just have a general idea of how you want it to look (colour scheme, text going to be included). Although it's only text on a white background, it still helps to know :).

Please keep us updated on how good the ROI is. It sounds like an interesting offer.. though I definitely don't just have $2k to drop anywhere.

Cheers,

Last time my WSO was up top there, the product made 13,331.50 for 2 months of exposure. I would say plopping down 2 to 4k would be worth it.

Now, before anyone goes diving off a cliff and thinks that is what they will make - I had an extremely good WSO that was well praised and I didn't pay 2k for an ad. Allen generously did a JV with myself, he got 50% of the cut.

So I'm testing it first, then we'll see.

Do you allow a couple of banners in one campaign? Or just one upload? If I bought two months, could I split it into two banners.?

Mine's up for a day's test.

Any chance these could be turned off in the WSO threads?

Seems a bit unfair to have these ads appear in people's paid for WSO threads.

Yup, I've noticed 2 of them link to WSO's so I'm assuming that is a go.

I agree, those paying for WSO's shouldn't have other people's ads displaying on their advertising page. I think they should be turned of for the WSO section.

Yes they are working on that now. Although they have always been that way and have always shown in the WSO section I don't particularly like it either. Should be done shortly..

Maybe it sold out lol.. Allen, I noticed something when I bought it originally... It said "add a description", which wasn't normal when I paid for WSO's etc... So it had no product name is what I mean.. ~ Caleb

It did sell out - the setting was at 5 - I didn't realize it was there :-)

I'm thinking about changing this to only allow 5 ads per day at $200 each...

I don't think it will be a good thing to have 10 ads rotating at once. I'll see after I get some results in from the current advertisers...

I am curious (and this may be elsewhere), how many visitors does the site get on a average day?

I would think 10 still work if that #s extremely high (assuming it is)

Mukul

I'm having problems uploading the image.

I browse and select it then nothing happens.

I wait for a while, still nothing, then I hit save and I get an error saying I didnt upload an image.

Anyone else having this issue?

buying two of the 10 spots @ 100 would do the same thing/ a smart person who had tested could in theory buy 10 spots, makes sense if your ad is pumping to own the space. / so it would just need a units to buy option to put that into effect / sell remaining up to / type units per day week / month.

/ or just go in and buy multiple times would sort it

Thanks Mukul but I meet all those criteria.

I can't get it to actually upload, what happens when you select your image from your desktop?

For me nothing happens, just a static page?

Did it in the last 30 mins and worked. I suggest changing browsers, sometimes there is a bug. I am using chrome.

IF you want me to try it for you, send me the image and put a temp pass on your account and I can.

Hi Allen,

Say I purchase the ad space for a week to 2 weeks... is it possible to insert a new along the way if the ad is not performing as expected?

Thanks

Yes but it maxes out. Currently there is 10 daily spots available. Judging by the responses from some of the advertisers I think that page will soon be one of the most watched on the forum, selling out daily.

admin 11-09-2010 12:44 AM

Re: Warrior Forum Banner Ad Details...

I've updated the original post..

There are 10 spots available per day. Each spot is $100. When it sells out the option to buy will not be visible until a spot becomes available.

I would love to have more spots but the fact is running more than 10 banners at a time will start diluting the responses for the advertisers.

Thanks Andy...please do. I have no way to track that from my end. The results from the first 10 will help me decide exactly how many should be running at once..5 or 10...
