We've created the official Warrior Forum Facebook group [This was changed based on everyone's feedback]. This will be a great place to connect with us. We'll be sending out Warrior Forum announcements, updates and running competitions.

Make sure you join our group and stay tuned for our updates!

    Alaister,

Based on my own experience as being members of many pages and groups on Facebook, I think you'd get WAY more value from doing a Warrior Forum Facebook group rather than a page. Groups encourage so much more interaction from the users, all the content is searchable -- it's just a much better community experience for all involved.

Pages are now just so stale and boring and do not have anywhere near the same community feel.

I strongly encourage you to make the change now before you start to grow that Facebook community.

A group is also more personal and encourages people to post in a safer place than to have their posts open to the general public as a page offers.

The things is, since you do not own the group as it's a FREE benefit of your Facebook membership, it can be taken away at any time - this is not the norm, but what if Facebook decided to close! I have my own Facebook Group and that does concern me. Nevertheless Facebook Groups ARE VERY popular and bring a lot to the table! I LOVE THEM!

Personally i do not like fan pages there are one way for promotion. i prefer groups it is more interactive. fan page is good for promotion updates and announcements. there are no reason to follow the fan page when i can followup here on the forum.

    that is my personally suggestion.

I don't "like" any fan pages. I have a personal Facebook profile for my family and friends only and don't want Warrior Forum stuff appearing in my newsfeed.

I agree. I also liked a lot of pages and have forgotten most of them, but a group is a group that I can never forgotten once I become a member.

I agree, Facebook Groups have much more value for a community. I have one with 18,000+ Entrepreneurs but also have one for my Private Coaching Students. Works very well. Looking forward to the new changes with the WF.

    Alaister,

So it appears a lot of others agree that a group would be far more valuable to us than just a Facebook page.

What is your take on this? This needs to be a two way conversation if you want to grow this forum. We are telling you what the community wants. Pages are too much of a one way conversation which offers no value to us, the users.
