Email Marketing Manager

We're looking for an email marketing manager who will be responsible for all Warrior Forum emails. Their role will involve everything from copywriting, testing, optimization and implementation.

Your roles and responsibilities will be:
- Manage Warrior Forum email marketing
- Hypothesis, A/B test and optimize all the emails
- Be familiar with email services like sendgrid, mail chimp etc
- Have a clear and comprehensive understanding of email deliverability
- Work towards clear goals and KPIs

What sort of person are we looking for?

We work in a fast paced environment and are looking for people to jump under the hood and get their hands dirty. You'll be working at ground zero and will be a major contributor to Warrior Forum member communication and growth.

You will need to have:
Excellent CRM/email marketing experience
Strong HTML/CSS coding skills
Hands-on experience building and deploying email campaigns, using ESP/marketing automation tools
Excellent copywriting skills
A solid understanding of UX/IA
Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
CSS and knowledge of Javascript
Experience with Google Analytics
A proactive attitude with strong communication skills
An innovative attitude, and be up to date with best practice.

Community Manager

We're looking for a community manager who will be responsible managing outreach for our community events such as Warrior Ask Me Anything (WAMA) as well as growing interaction and activity with the forums. Their role will involve everything from communication, planning, logistics and scheduling.

Your roles and responsibilities will be:
- Outreach to suitable people for our WAMA events
- Managing the WAMA plan, scheduling and logistics of the events
- Identify areas for community growth, create strategies and implement
- Work towards clear goals and KPIs

You will need to have:
A good understanding of the Internet marketing community. Contacts with industry leaders would help.
Excellent copywriting skills
Experience with Google Analytics
A proactive attitude with strong communication skills
An innovative attitude, and be up to date with best practice.

Front-End Designer/Developer and UX Expert

Warrior Forum and Warrior Payments are now looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer that lives and breathes everything technology related and has keen experience in usability, research, user experience design and user testing to improve and create innovative products.

You'll enjoy working on a variety of projects that cross the digital spectrum, but predominantly working on websites, mobile applications and other business applications.

What we're looking for:

- Experience designing user-centred solutions for medium to large scale projects as a User Experience Designer.
- Demonstrable experience in usability, wireframing & prototyping, user stories, user flows, user research & testing, information architecture, interaction design, information design and visual and content design.
- Experience leading user design process including facilitating workshops, engaging cross functional teams and presenting to senior stakeholders, ensuring designs work within scope and business goals.
- Extensive understanding of UX processes and methodologies and the interplay between business requirements, branding, visual design and the technology behind website and app development.
- The ability to stay abreast of future products coming through the pipeline and be available to assist product with creative concepts and design requirements.
- Proficiency in using Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamic, Axure or similar design tools.
- Experience working in Agile methodology or Lean desired.
- Ability to express complex ideas simply and concisely.
- Portfolio of work to demonstrate the above.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-starter.

Software Engineer, Systems & Infrastructure

The Freelancer.com and Warrior Forum Infrastructure Engineering team builds scalable, high performance services, libraries and systems that support the Freelancer platform. Working in a polygot team, you'll be working in an automated, and entirely cloud based environment where you'll build highly parallelised systems that handle tens of thousands of concurrent connections, distributed fault tolerant systems, and backend services. We are looking for engineers who share a passion for tackling difficult problems, who will help us build the systems to get us to 100 million users and beyond.

Requirements:

- Experience with at least 2 popular web development languages (Python, Golang, PHP, Ruby, Node.JS).
- Relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL.
- Experience developing for, and working in a Linux environment.
- Strong background in web development at scale.
- Tertiary Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or Related). MS or PhD a plus.
- Experience with RPC protocols such as Thrift, Protocol Buffers, Avro, ICE, etc a plus.
- Experience with operating system internals, filesystems, programming language design, compilers a plus.
- Experience with any of: Nginx, Redis, Memcache, Varnish, performance tuning MySQL, ElasticSearch, HBase, Hadoop, etc.
