Looking to build a MULTI-MILLION dollar business? Let's JV and make it a success!

This business, is in the music industry. Which is a multi-BILLION dollar industry. I know music well enough and have studied it for some time now to point out potential talent. I have an ear for timeless music. Plus, I make music. It's what I've used to make money online by putting out my own albums and promoting them myself, and only digitally.

Now, I want to branch out, and start a record label. And expand it to beyond. Income potential is high in this because we will start with the music of course, and sell it physically and digitally. Then, we will branch out to merchandise and touring. And merchandise will be everything from hats to shirts to pants to socks, etc. And even coffee mugs, backpacks, and whatever else that seems to fit in with the scheme. And we will also create an app. And from there, we will innovate.

I'm looking for 2 experienced partners who are experts at either fields: marketing (especially this skill), copy-writing, managing, innovating, designing, etc.

I'm ready to blast this off right now so PM or Skype me at @freshclaudio.

Thank you,

Jordan Daniels AKA Fresh Claudio

What you need is an expert in marketing record-labels. A general marketing expert is unlikely to have the experience you need for this.

Another thought . . . I make money from creating music, and uploading it to music-library sites, where I get a residual income every month. That way, I create whatever I want, whenever I want, and all I have to do is upload it. It's easy to make non-vocal "underscore" mixes of other tracks, as well as different mixes and different edits, as well as offering the same tracks you sell as albums.

The best music-library site I know is Pond5. They are self-service (all you do is upload your tracks, and if they are approved they are available for sale on their website), I've got over 700 tracks there, and make some money every month.

So that's one way of profiting from making music.

As for a record-label, in my opinion you need a real expert. While I have copy-writing and art/graphics/web-design skills, and general marketing and business skills, I don't know what it takes to make a record-label succeed (and I don't have much time either).

That's my view, hope it helps

Hey Chris, thanks for the reply. I actually had that in mind that it would be a little (maybe a lot) different to promote for a record label. But I don't think it'll be so much of a difference to drive targeted traffic to the artists.

And thanks for giving me another way to profit from this. Never heard of sites like those but I will definitely look into it.

Starting a record label isn't the toughest business to go into. I've talked to people and read a lot on it and it's mostly about the quality music you release. Everything else follows after that. I know what it takes my friend.

I'm wondering now, how much time do you have on your hands? I'm about to PM you.

      Thanks again,
