Looking for a Partner Copywriter To Split Profits W/ My Product

Here's the deal.

I have a hot product that i've run some market tests on. It's an ebook that has been making sales passively on amazon kindle with ZERO marketing or advertising.

I did this as a market test and it's working.

I'm looking for a copywriter who is honest, ethical, and has a proven track record with conversion stats.

You write the copy, I do the external marketing, product creation,

I cannot pay you up front, but if you do an excellent job then We split the profits 50/50 and I can set up a payment method that automatically does this so that there are no disputes.

I am only interested in 50/50, win/win deals here.
This is part of a real business that I intend to sustain for years to come.

Sound fair? Interested?

Most copywriters capable of creating a winning salesletter for your product,

Someone who is expecting the salesletter for only a share of profits in the future,
may not strike most copywriters as being a marketer with the budget to market
the winning salesletter written for you.

50% of zero is still zero.

However, if you're willing to pony up the retainer to secure the services of
a quality copywriter in addition to reasonable royalties from sales made,

you'll more than likely have no problem at all locating who you're looking for.

This response isn't meant to entirely represent all copywriters or to enter any sort
      of debate,

but only to reply to your query as you were obviously expecting response as evidenced by your exasperated

Bottom line, you're going to need to invest the retainer (read: upfront)
in order to secure the services of the kind of professional copywriter
who would make any sort of jv arrangement worthwhile for you.

Those who do possess what's needed to ensure your project is a winner
are most likely booked months in advance and busy working with their
      clients who did retain them.

It's just the way it works.

I hope this helps you to understand why you didn't receive much response yet (if any)

and I strongly recommend you restructure your offer to include
the necessary retainer fee in addition to gross sales royalties

if you're looking to stack the odds in your favor for gleaning
more than a passing, dismissive glance from any copywriter
capable of providing you the results you seek (one you actually want writing for you).

I hope you can see the value in the advice given and realize it's not
a personal affront, but rather a sincere attempt to help you on your journey.

    Doug,

I'm fully aware that most copywriters won't work without an upfront fee.

But this has to start somewhere. I'm looking for a long term relationship for my business....our business, not just a one-shot deal. I have more than one ebook ready to launch, in fact, but I'm starting with one hot product to garner interest and rolling out from there.

I'm transparent about everything just as any good business would be, and I find that people who are willing to work for commission are more motivated.

Payments will be set up so that they are split automatically, electronically. I only do win-win deals, PERIOD.
