I know you all want to build your list in 2010 and I have created a great resource for you to use and it's completely free.

Giveaways are a great way to build your list for free, if you use giveaways and continue to do adswaps you will see your list grow exceptionally large within a short period.

Thanks for your input but i find it's best to promote 2 or 3 giveaways at a time. Once the "Free Gift 4 You" giveaway stops accepting contributors i will post the next giveaway which starts on February 1.

This way you are promoting for contributors every 14 days and members the other 14 days. Don't stretch yourself thing. It's no point being on the last page of 5 giveaways when you can get 5 times as many subscribers being on the first page of 1 giveaway.

Hi George,

Thanks for your comment but i don't agree with having a huge list of giveaways running at once. You will not be able to promote them to the best of your ability which will mean your gifts will be found on the back pages of all the giveaways.

Sign up to 2 or 3 at a time and promote them effectively , this way you will have your gifts at the top of each giveaway earning you more subscribers per giveaway

Less is more when it comes to giveaways

I'm completely new to giveaways.... So I have a few questions.

In order for us to get subscribers, do we have to do some sort of points thing? I am trying to find more information on this, but so far I haven't been too successful.

I'd rather not have to promote a giveaway when I could be spending time promoting my own page by myself.

Yes it helps if you promote the giveaway, this gets your gift page higher up which equals more subscribers. But you can pay for the OTO which gives you a higher rank and a place on the random gifts page ( which is always page one ).

These OTO only cost around the $10 mark and for the subscribers you can add to your list is a bargain in my opinion.

I have my own giveaway starting up. It is at http://weelyjv.com . I am hoping to have a year long giveaway with different topics.

If you have ever wanted to have your own personal giveaway with your own themes and graphics get in touch. I can make this happen. There is no cost but you need to have your own header, footer, and background if you want it personalized to you.

I can set you up as an administator and you will be able to customize it to how you want it.

What I get out of it is being a partner in the event.
