Looking For A Site Manager - Basic Pay + Revenue Share

Ocarda is the first of our projects that we are looking for a partnership with. We are also looking for partnerships on other web properties like a payment processor for digital goods (like clickbank, but with way more functionality), and a domain / website sales property (somewhat like sedo).
| Website Manager For Web Templates Store Wanted Basic Pay + Profit Sharing Our company is looking for a website manager who will handle the day to day activities of www.ocarda.com (website will be back online soon!) - an advanced Web Templates marketplace. You will be given basic pay with revenue sharing. Ocarda allows anyone to upload their designs (static or a CMS theme) and sell it in the marketplace. The sale revenue is split between Ocarda and the designer. Social networking features have been built in to enable a community to grow around the site. The site is completed and operational but we are looking for outside help with the running of the site. You would be contracted by Agriya to manage and build the website. We would consider a full time employee with salary if you were to relocate to India. We have invested heavily (we'd charge an outside company $50k+ to build a site like this) in this website in terms of developers, design and setup. Management - You will be assigned a developer to help you work on the website - You will be assigned a designer to help create new designs or change the design of Ocarda or come up with promotional graphics - You will be assigned an SEO analyst to help with the promotion of the website in the search engines - You will be given access to our team of content writers for onsite content or promotional content Your responsibilities include - Encouraging designers to submit their designs - Raising the awareness of Ocarda via social media marketing (Twitter, Facebook, Forums, Blogs, Bookmarking Sites etc) - Providing design and functionality changes to Ocarda - Managing the resources assigned to the website - Generating ideas to boost sales - Communicating regularly with past and present clients - Data mining the traffic analytics in order to improve and optimize the website - Customer support which includes answering enquiries, handling disputes, ensuring the cus Measurable Targets We will be using measurable targets to ensure that the site is always moving forward. We will refer to the following variables to determine the success of the website: - Monthly Sales Volume - Number of new design submissions - Unique Visitors (from all sources) As well as the measurable targets, we will also be observing how well you are managing the team assigned to you and your commitment to the website (ie. taking several days vacation without informing us would be a bad thing). You will be reporting directly to the Online Marketing Manager, Vice-President of Marketing and the Chief Technical Officer (CTO). Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate is a web savvy Internet user who maintains one or more of their own personal sites, is able to handle a team of people and delegate work effectively. Proven activity in social media such as on forums, blogs, twitter and other social network websites. Being a designer who can contribute their own designs would be a huge benefit. Communication skills should be excellent, you should completely fluent in English if it is not your first language. Why are we looking for a partnership instead of a full time employee? Our company is located in India where it's very difficult to find a full time candidate who has excellent communication skills, knows Internet Marketing inside out and is very web savvy. Of course these people do exist in India, but they are usually running their own companies because they have the skills to do so  Of course, if you are willing to relocate to India (like I have), then we'd consider full time employment. |
