Default SEO guy for Insurance Partnership

We are looking for an SEO partner to work with our insurance company. We are nationwide insurance broker that represents over 50 different companies. We need an SEO guru because honestly I don't have the time to work on SEO. This would be a position where you split profits and will have ownership in the company. On our current path and predictions we plan selling the business for 5 million dollars in 5 years. This is a realistic goal with our current team. We need an SEO guy to fill that area of marketing just like we have recruited people from all the top departments to build one of the fastest growing online brokers.

Please contact me if you are interested at all. We are open to negotiations and terms. This is a long term deal where you will have ownership in one of the fastest growing companies.

Hi, I am not in the SEO business nor do I want to be. I have the #1 site for "sales leads" "free sales lead" "b2b sales leads" and on the first page for "leads"
Many of the companies under me pay a fortune for SEO, like sales Genie, and Info USA.
I know the insurance industry well, I do some consulting for financial planners, I would be willing to talk to you and at least point you in the right direction. I always like to at least offer some help and useful advice when I can.

Do you have a website now, if so can I take a look?

I missed your link to your site, I took a look and here are my 2 cents...

The biggest problem you have is that your site is trying to be all things to all people, it confuses Google bots and users. You need 5 different sites, one for each type of insurance. If I am looking for an Auto insurance quote I don't even want to see commercial or health insurance on the page.

The search engines don't like it much either, they are looking for lexical words that relate to your title tag. If you are going after all these types of insurance on one page you can't possibly have the focused words that will give you relavance.

Linking is also much easier when you have narrowed down to one type of insurance quote. Looks like you have done some back linking but because you are going after 5 types of insurance on one page you are spinning your wheels. No wonder you don't have time for this, it would be a full time job for a staff of four!

Wouldn't you rather be known as the top health insurance site or Commercial site instead of poor ranking for all insurance.

Now about conversion, your opt in box needs to be on the right hand side and I would get rid of the robot, it just confuses me and makes me want to leave. How about some bullet points explaining what I am signing up for. You need to split test the home page for conversion, you could double the number of opt ins without adding more traffic. Good luck with it.

Thanks for the comments. We are open to changes, but we sell all forms of insurance so there has to be all of them on the home page, We really want to rank well for anyone looking to buy auto insurance in California. We want to target all search related to California even though we are licensed in about 30 states.

If you want to rank well for this then you need to change your title tag to "California auto insurance quotes"

We actually don't want that page to rank for that keyword.

I am looking to swap lists to help giveaway my FREE "Bad Credit 2 Wealth" Credit Education Webinar offered at my site CreditAmbassador.com

I have a highly responsive list and I can do a list swap for any financial targeted offers that do not directly compete with my credit educational product offers.

Please email me at: support (at) creditambassador.com

I think there has been some good advice given. You can't be everything to everybody. Essentially, you are going against the grain of Marketing 101. Know your target market, create a website or landing page around that and then optimize and drive targeted traffic.

It doesn't have to work that way. I can show you a 100 sites that don't follow that path. I am sure it makes the job of the SEO much easier, but that doesn't mean it has to be done in that fashion.
