As I type there are less than 200 members. But the site is brand new and I've done almost no promotion, I'm hoping to populate the marketplace somewhat before I start properly promoting.

      Hi Gary

Looks like a pretty good option when it comes to selling our site builder. Less fees plus a audience of 50,000 as a starting point has us WON.

We're in. Have already signed up.

Just got to make sure our own User management system will tie in.

      Regards

Sven - Just like with RapidActionProfits and 7DollarSecrets, the affiliate will have to issue the refund. When a member joins PaySpree they agree to honour the refund conditions stated on the salepage of each product they promote.

OK, registered and everything is fine.
But I'm not sure how this instant payment works on your site.
Do we have to use some kind of code from it
to place on the salespages instead of a usual payment button?

    More details would be appreciated.

      Hey thanks for signing up.

After you create a product there will be a link beside each one called 'order links', this will give you the links you need to put on your salespage.

All you have to do is use these payspree links as your order button links. There is no script or code to install.

All payspree members can instantly promote all products in the marketplace for instant commission.

Heri - hover over the 'Products' link and a dropdown menu should appear showing recurring and dimesale products.

The scheduled maintenance message was up for a few hours between Sunday/Monday while I moved the site to a new dedicated server. So you definitely shouldn't be seeing that now, maybe your browser is loading a cached version of the page?

I looked at product ID #347 and the salespage points to: http://payspree.com/admin/www.imspec...ger/index.html

I think maybe you don't have the http:// in the salespage field?

              Hi Gary..

              This is strange...

I tested in with my PC and Netbook with 2 different net connections (ISP)
they all both loaded the maintenance page when trying to load payspree.

Also inside I have hovered many times in product link without anything
happened... now I think I am only able to see the Cache version of your site
in 2 ISPs that I use including in the member area where I still can not access
              the complete features yet..

I suspect it happens for all ISP in my country (indonesia) since Dee also
live in indonesia and he seems to have the same problem with mine.

Now about my product, please test again:
http://payspree.com/347/herose (it's open fine here, i just already had http://
              but didnt have www.)

              Thanks,

    Hi Heri,

Your product now appears in the marketplace.

It must be that your country is loading a cached version of the site. Which is pretty strange as it obviously connected to the new database. I would imagine it will be fully resolved pretty soon, I'd definitely be interested to know when this happens.

      Hi,

I see that your product is now listed in the marketplace, however you are not using payspree order links on your salespage. This is a must or your product will be removed.

"what happens if a non payspree referred visitor purchases my course?"

Nothing different, you get the money, just like if someone who isn't referred via a clickbank link purchases a clickbank product.

"I refer affiliates to my payspree affiliate referral page and they just add their username and you take it from there?"

Pretty much. All your affiliates need is a payspree account and they're good to go.

@alex - Glad you're liking the site. More updates and features are on their way.

I had 1 other member mention this issue (may have actually been you).

The only thing I can think is that the customers clicking the links were in a country that was still trying to load an older version of the site before I moved it to a new dedicated server.

The move was 3 weeks ago so this should definitely be resolved.

BUT...i dont see any information anywhere how my payment link is supposed to look like? Do i simply first add my product? How do i get the payment link?

Edit: Ok, added a product. Not sure whether DLGuard works with it tho, might email Sam to support payment spree.

    Hi Gary,

just signed up for my premium account (I paid for it, as I was in a hurry and didn't spend time browsing around WF first ;-)). One question: If I have a OTO I have to use my own solution? Right? Haven't found any documentation ;-)

Another question: There is no integration with aWeber or any other autoresponder account, right?

Will list my Outsourcing Guide (see signature) today (will create a subdomain like ps.outsourcingpitfalls.com for it ;-))!

  • Profile picture of the author Gary McCaffrey
@gridley - Clicks are tracked when affiliate links are used, just like at clickbank. As a product owner you can view all the click data for your products. As an affiliate you can only view click data for product that you have made at least 1 sale on.

So my affiliate link for your product is: payspree.com/811/admin

Clicks on that will show in your analytics area, but the won't show in mine until after I have made 1 sale.

Your product #811 has been added.

@kos818 - Thanks for signing up and taking advantage of the special offer. You still get the bonus 100 credits as well as the PREMIER account, so its a better offer than available here in the forum.

You can use PaySpree to handle your OTO payments too. Just set it up as an additional product, don't add your OTO to the marketplace (obviously). Then just use your PaySpree order links on your OTO salespage.

If your OTO is shown after someone buys your product, and you want to pay commission for both, use the 'Groups' feature inside PaySpree to group these products together and you're good to go.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[2394597].message }}

As for autoresponder integration, we don't have that feature yet, but it is coming.

For now you can just put your autoresponder form on your thankyou page. We'll be able to integrate with all the popular autoresponder solutions in the coming weeks.

      Hi Gary,

thanks again for your fast reply! I've figured out the OTO approach in the mean time, but thanks for the note related to the marketplace. I would have listed a product with 0% affiliate commissions ;-) Maybe I make it available in a more expensive version with some nice chunk of cash for affiliates!

Your solution is GREAT! I was pissed of the whole last week by the $7 script and it seems like a dream that came true!

Hi Gary, sorry i can't send PM's yet, but in case you don't know, your payspree helpdesk isn't working - I cannot submit or reply to a ticket. Try and submit a new ticket and you'll see right at the last point when you hit the submit button (after typing everything out) you get an error.

I know you're working out all the kinks at the moment so don't worry, I think payspree is brilliant mate.

Here was my message to you:

    Hi Gary,

I know you're busy working on loads of updates for payspree, but one feature that would be a huge help for me, would be an option to select either USD or GBP currency when adding a new a product.

I'm sure it would be beneficial to many other users if we could just have the option to receive payments in USD or GBP anyway. Some products I sell are specifically for the UK market only - all my customers would be UK residents, and receiving payments in USD would be a little strange.

Are you planning to add this option? Receiving payments in GBP?

    Hi Stu,

I'm looking into the helpdesk issue, I've tried it and was able to submit a ticket fine. I'm also still receiving helpdesk tickets from others.

I'll add currency options to the to-do list. I'm just wondering how to implement it with the fee system and everything else.

    Hi Gary,

you say the affiliate has to issue the payment. So the affiliate has instant access to his commissions, BUT he/she should be prepared to return his/her money in case someone requests a refund? That makes me wonder... what is the money back guarantee?

Also, would you mind clarifying how affiliates get paid? I still don't seem to really get how that works. Thanks.

@Katya - All your questions are answered here: PaySpree Commissions Explained

The money back guarantee can be different for every product, whatever the vendor states on their salespage is the guarantee.

    Hi Gary,

Regarding payments in GBP, I wouldn't think it shouldn't affect your charges because you are not the payment processor (whereas clickbank is for example). If I was you, I would keep your fees as they are ($1 and $2 no matter if the vendor is charging GBP or USD), you said you're trying to keep everything as simple as possible (which is a great idea).

For example, you charge $1 for $5.00-$19.99 I believe. Well, why not make it:
$1.00 for 5.00 - 19.99 in any currency, GBP or USD.

You just need your script to recognise the amounts, not the currency when recording the fee. So, 19.99 either in dollars or pounds would incur a $1.00 fee because your script will record the 19.99, not $19.99 or £19.99.

Seems like that would be possible and easy for you to manage?

I've seen in the source code of the redirect page that the currency is in USD and can be changed to GBP and it will show the price in GBP on the paypal page, so hopefully it's not to hard to add this feature - I would definitely use this.
