JV to bring Amazon Plugin to Market
I have developed a unique Amazon store plugin for my own affiliate marketing business. It's working for me, and now I want to explore making the software a product.

The WordPress plugin adds 8 tables to the WP database and has a rich user interface with automation that allows ANYONE to build a unique Amazon Associate store on their blog in a matter of minutes.
The plugin also supports building review pages. The current version is 100% compatible with Rich Snippets and passes Google's test (see Rich Snippets Test Tool: google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets).
The code has also been designed to support vBulletin with minimal rework. This is where I will be headed with the development after a successful launch for WordPress.
The easy way to think of this product is BANS (Build a Niche Store) for WordPress + Amazon. It has huge potential for future development, enhancements, and add-ons that would offer further revenue (i.e., ecommerce oriented WordPress themes).
The competing product is ShopperPress, which is full of holes and limitations. It's biggest limitation is that it disable traditional blogging features of WordPress and forces the user into the design/structure of the ShopperPress theme.
A new product that offers BANS-like functionality for Amazon (non-WP plugin) will be launched in two weeks. The author of this product has established a new market price at $297. (see freshassociate.com).
My plugin is 100% independent of the WordPress theme; taking on the look and feel of the theme in use. It is a great add-on for an existing blog and a fantastic tool for micro niche website marketers.
THE JV PARTNER I SEEK
I'm in search of a seasoned Internet Marketer with a track record of success. The JV will take the lead in the marketing role while I finish the engineering effort and staff up support.
I have no preconceived notions about how this product can or should be marketed. In this regards, I am wide open to all possibilities.

I am a former VP of Information Technologies with the world's largest name in electronics and entertainment. The author of five successful computer science books, I am no stranger to project completion. I have launched several Internet product brands (one with 70+ products in the brand) in the area of car care, but do not have experience marketing software products to the SOHO/IM audience.
