Mailing frequency really depends on the relationship that you have with your list. If you're giving them value in every mailing, whether it's some tips, techniques, strategies, how-tos, interesting information and relevant offers - I don't see why people wouldn't want to receive that!

On the other hand, if it gets to a point where it's spammy, then you'll turn a lot of people off. I recommend regular 'follow-up' type mailings that give strategies and ideas and also act as a relationship-builder, and then broadcast offer messages that offer them the shortcut or simple tools that they can pay for.
