Looking for partners on a small IM project - one programmer and one marketer (newbies welcomed)

Hi guys, what's up?

Ok, I'll get straight to the point here.

I'm in a really busy period right now and I just don't have time to put all my ideas to work.

That's why I have decided to look for partners to join me on some projects.

One of the project I would like to make it happen is a software product for ClickBank vendors to help them make more sales. So it's a conversion software, not some automatic traffic software or anything like that.

It has a single purpose and it gives value because it enables ClickBank vendors a certain selling tactic they aren't able to use right now. At least not all of them.

It's not a big project as I said, but it could be an opportunity for programmers and marketers here to work on a project and learn the whole process of making the product to launching it.

I am looking for one programmer who will create the product and a marketer who will launch the product and do all the marketing.

Throughout the process I will be a mentor making sure that the product creation is going in the right direction and to give my own marketing plan and ideas.

Everything would be discussed between the three of us and in the end we will make an unanimous decision about everything.

In other words, I'm bringing the product idea and my IM knowledge & experience to the table.

I have worked with programmers a lot so I understand the process, limitations and possibilities of programming a software.

My IM knowledge and experience goes from product creation, copywriting, web design, PPC advertising, Facebook advertising, SEO, article marketing, video and so on. I have invested in a lot of top IM courses like Product Launch Formula, Mass Control, Commission Blueprint and all sorts of software products.

The partners I choose will be committed to make everything we decide happen. In other words, the programmer will have to make (program) the software. The marketer will have to write the sales letter, create campaigns, write email copy, deal with web designer, create everything for the campaign, monitor the stats, etc.

To sum up, my personal goal here is to find a team that will carry out what we decide, because I don't have the time to do it all by myself. I will always be available to help and to discuss what to do next, but you will have to do everything to make the project actually happen.

This is the reason why I wrote that newbies are welcome. Actually I'm not looking for complete newbies that don't have a clue about anything because then I would have to teach you first about everything which I don't have the time.

I'm looking for someone who has some knowledge and knows how an IM project like this one works, but hasn't had a chance to actually be part of a project like this one. Someone who is still struggling to make it in the IM and wants the opportunity to learn even more on a real project.

Ok, now about the deal.

My initial offer is that we split profits 30-30-30 + 10%. 30% for each of us and with the rest of the 10% we decide together what to do - invest in something else or divide it among ourselves or make a killer party.

This deal is not fixed and can change. If you show that you can offer more to the table then you can get a bigger cut. For example, if you say I have a list of 500 ClickBank vendors to who we can promote the product, then you'll send your own affiliate link to that list and earn more. If you are a programmer and know web design you will get more for that.

Ie. it all depends on how much each of us brings to the table. But the minimum requirement for me is:
  • the programmer is able to program the software
  • the marketer can understand everything about the process and needs no basic training (ie. what's PPC, or what's a salesletter, etc.)
  • except for certain conditions, I won't be doing the actual work (ie. setting up the autoresponder, writing emails, etc.), I will be a mentor of sorts
You can ask any questions you want here, except "what's the product exactly about?". To get that answer you need to send me a PM with the reasons why I should pick you as my partner. If I like what you wrote I will give you details of the product and then you can decide whether or not to go on with the deal.

Apart from this project, I have several other software ideas that are a bit larger than this that I would be more than happy to do with my partners from this project. So this is not a one shot business.

I have some other conditions that apply for this project, but there's no need to discuss them now. It will be discussed with the people that apply.

Thank you guys and I'm looking forward to your questions and applications!

Take care,

~Davor.

I would be interested in doing the programming part, but would rather getting paid for it upfront instead of waiting and "hoping" for your product to sell so I could get paid.

Let me know if you have the upfront payment option

Hi and thanks for your interest. I know what you mean, but that's not the point with this project. I have several top quality programmers with whom I was working on different (and larger) projects and I was always paying them upfront. But with this project my goal is to find people who want experience and an opportunity to work on a real project and be involved with the whole process.

I made a mistake of not mentioning the workload. To program the software and to test it, it would take a week or two for an average programmer to do it. It's not a high level, but more of an intermediate task.

Of course, if no one wants to jump aboard as a programmer, I would discuss with my partner who to hire. So I will let you know if that happens.

    Take care and thanks again!
