Sell this Google #1 Local Website

Hi,

I want someone with experience in selling my top ranked local website. Its something like,

clearwaterbakery.com (example), which ranks #1 for "clearwater bakery" and the such, and i have a well developed site that ranks 8 SERPS in the top 3.

I can PM you the URL to have a look in case you are interested. I can also provide you with a leads list of bakeries in clearwater (example).

    Why sell the site when you can license it to a small business in the market/niche you're targeting?

    Using the example you gave (clearwaterbakery.com), you could contact the businesses you find through a Google Maps and Google search.

    Google Maps Results: bakery loc: Clearwater, FL, USA

    Google Search Results: clearwater bakery

    Send a snail mail letter to each of the businesses you find and offer to license the site to them for $X per month for an X month term.

    Be sure to tell them you're also making the offer available to their competitors and will only be able to license it to the first person who takes you up on your offer.

    Although you won't receive a one-time lump sum payment this way, you'll still own the site and the domain and can re-license it after the term has expired if the current licensee does not want to renew their license.
