Posts disappearing? Here's why.
If your thread was deleted, it's likely for one of two reasons. The first is explained in the sticky that's been at the top of this section since last November. The second is that you're promoting an affiliate program. Those go here:

No, everything like that isn't gone yet. It's going to be removed a little (a few dozen threads or so) at a time.
By the way... No-one is going to get any hassles about having had affiliate promotions here. In the past, this was the place for them. Please don't post them here in the future.
Ad swaps (free exchanges between members) are still okay, as are real joint ventures. Offers which involved both ad swaps and paid solo ads are being removed. Feel free to re-post the ad swap part without the paid aspect of the offer.

Edit: Calling an ad for an affiliate program a "JV invite" doesn't make it anything other than an affiliate program. Don't try that one.
