Shakmoney, I would not advise you to advertise that you have money to invest, that is a bad first step from my stand point. Then again, its your money. Ok before I go any further I want to tell you that I am only 17 years old so if age is going to be a factor then.....u know...My way of making money from online is to just start investing only 20% of the initial principal amount. We could buy and sell domains and websites. I have few domains already stacked that are premium. NBACorner.com, PGACorner.com, NHLCorner.com, OnlineTechGeek.com, MakePSD.com. On the side we can set up websites with autoblog or amazon affiliate products. Something else that we can do is have a web design company that outsources everything. I already know html, css, and am learning PHP. I own couple of forums, and am planning to start a forum for serious domain buyers and sellers. One domain that I have ODZF.com stands for One Domain Zone Forum, will be similar to DNForum.com. I am right now taking one step at a time to reach my future goal. We cannot do everything at once but we can start at one place and build a strong foundation and grow in the future. Let me know what you think of my plans. The huge problem i see with JV's is these 2:

1) People telling you they are making great money but need an investment. Hmmm Why? I cannot see one valid reason for it.

2) People with "great ideas" but no revenue to talk about. Huge risk with your money.

then of course there's the plain old fashioned, vanilla, scam.

I too gave looked and looked, tried many. Only one as ever come off for me. It's a great idea but sadly i think it's a pipe dream. I do think there are "needles in the hay stack" Good luck trying to find them though.

I would say that the 1st point is true in many cases. However, based on my experience, that's not the ultimate truth. I personally have invested into JVs which required me to do no work and I have been earning money completely on auto-pilot. The person on whom I invested the money upon so far has been responsive and even paid me the money back.

On another note, I also sometimes to seek out to investors for scaling up my already existing and profiting business. It's never bad to add extra investors to your business, according to me, obviously you need to show that your business works and your investor will get money returned, plus, a good nice profit.

On the 2nd point, people do have great ideas, but mostly they are crap. Before investing into any of such "great ideas," you should first examine the idea, whether the investor seeker has a business plan ready or not and if any other method of probably verification.

All being said, online investment is always full of risks and you should make proper contract arrangement before getting into a JV. Speaking from my personal experience, I have been scammed, so I know how does it feel in wasting your hard-earned money.
