Large social network & music site needs Warrior partner

I own a website that I have built up to a certain level and due to the constraints of my day job and family obligations I am not in a position to take it to the next level. I have had help along the way in developing the site but I am not a programmer and am not in any position to develop the site any further. It's come to the point now that I have no further interest in involving in the operation of the site because 1) I don't have the time 2) I don't have the know how. I've decided that I need a partner with the marketing know how and technical skills to increase the size of the user base and get the site making some serious money.

The site has developed over a number of years and has NEVER been monetised or promoted. There are just under 30,000 bands registered with their own band profile pages and music hosted. Exactly how many of those accounts are still contactable I am not sure. There is also a user forum with approx 17,500 users registered and over 320,000 posts. The site is .Net and the forum is vbulletin. There is a blog on the main site that is nothing more than a redundant news button at the moment. Facebook was recently installed on the homepage along with Twitter but I simply haven't had the time to promote it so the number of users is a paltry 530. I have never undertaken ANY advertising, marketing or promotion.

There is a lot of content on the site, many tens of thousands of mp3's, band profiles, song reviews and of course forum posts. I'm sure there are plenty of options as to how this site could be monetised.

I am prepared to consider all options in terms of structuring an agreement with a trustworthy Warrior that has a proven track record. I am looking for someone to effectively step in and take over the marketing/operational activities and technical improvements necessary to generate revenue. In return for this I will offer a percentage of these monthly profits and a percentage of the ultimate sale price of the site. Ultimately, the end game is to increase the user base and traffic to such a level that the site can be sold for a suitably large sum.

Lots to discuss with any interested party. I am not prepared to post the domain name here in the forum but will forward on details by PM to any interested parties.

Please understand, I can only consider working with a Warrior member with a proven track record and high post count. Ideally, my partner will have an interest in creating music and will understand the wants, needs and requirements of amateur musicians and songwriters.

I look forward to hearing from any suitable interested parties.

Thanks,

Dave
