Looking for a programmer/website designer....

Hi,
I'm looking for a programmer who has great skills in website design, php, wordpress and others. What I can offer is my knowledge in SEO and proven business models, what I need is someone who can bring these ideas to reality. The programmer will work for free, but I will pay for any development expenses upfront, such as domain expenses, hosting, software, etc. My plan is to split the profits 50%-50% with the programmer. I've been in internet marketing for about 2.5 years, and I've had good success already, currently making 4 digit monthly income, but I could speed up my progress and my income goals by having a long term programming partner. I'm looking for a programmer who loves to program, and isn't in it to just to turn a quick profit, and doesn't mind sharing the rewards 50%-50%. Send me a PM if interested.

I agree with those above, in that you can find cheap labor at these locations. But, there are a few pitfalls that you should probably watch out for:
    1. Communication - interview these people on skype to ensure that you will actually be able to communicate your ideas to this individual, and that they will understand. While bargain priced programmers sometimes offer great value, many of them will avoid talking to you in person because their English isn't very good. This can be problematic as the project advances and becomes more complicated.
    2. take some of the code from their portfolio and post it in a coding forum like Devshed or Sitepoint. Ask the people there what they think of a particular script. If you're a non-coder, this is a potential way for you to analyze their work.
    3. Try and stay away form the absolutely rock-bottom priced coders. I'd probably go for $10 - $15 per hour if you're on a budget.
    4. Make sure they have a solid feedback rating and some hours on odesk, elance, whatever...

    Good luck!
