Opportunity Summary:
I currently have this in the works with a core group of two developers, and myself. While I have very little development skills to speak of, I bridge the gap between the technical, and the real-world, where user interaction is of utmost importance, and subsequently, the end-client experience.

The project revolves around a mobile application that serves a core marketing and advertising need for small, local businesses that is, as of now, grossly unmet. While it's not fair to say there is no competition, this application has no direct competitors. Being first to the market is a must here, and beyond that, it's absolutely important that a consistent effort is made to reach out to the businesses that can truly benefit from this (there are very few that can't...but this is best left for another conversation).

The value that's infused into the application is beyond anything that consumers and businesses currently have access to.

If you've read anything into the 'offline' opportunities, you'll know that the market is indeed growing at a rapid pace. While, even a year ago, most businesses had never considered the need for mobile marketing and consumers had barely scratched the surface of using their mobile devices, it's now not a question of if, but when.

Market Analysis:
Take a look around in your local area. Better yet, reach inside your mailbox (digital or snail). Businesses all around you are advertising through multiple channels, in an effort to grasp your attention. If you're currently operating in the 'offline' niche, you've likely approached (or want to) these businesses.

You know the value in a well-planned marketing approach for small businesses that includes the benefits of: attaining their own lists for continued marketing, customized messaging, and high efficiency (low cost, high return).

The specific application we're close to finishing combines all of the benefits of traditional marketing and advertising, and pairs it with an entirely consumer-friendly method of delivery...one that has no resistance on the consumer end, because they choose to receive the advertising messages (permission-based marketing at its finest).

Your Local Opportunity to Build a Sustainable, Profitable Business:
We recently completed a trial run of this project within our metropolitan area. While we're by no means located in a highly populated part of the country, we have one bigger city (250,000 population) surrounded by some smaller outlying towns (another 150,000 people).

Typically, our area has been slow to the market when it comes to adopting "new" ideas, so we wanted to guarantee a high level of success for ourselves before opening this up to the public.

The entire survey was 12 questions long, and allowed us to gauge interest in our offering, thresholds for marketing/advertising spend, ability to act on our offer, and the perceived value from what we're offering in comparison to what they've been traditionally spending to reach the same audience. The results were conclusive and beyond our expectations, and convinced us to carry on with the project with more fervor.



Since we've received the full set of results from the survey, we have a few additions to the application on the table, as requested by many of our survey respondents.


The bottom line is, businesses are hungry for this offering, and consumers are already conditioned to receive marketing and advertising messages through this channel. If you know of, or have personally used, Groupon, LivingSocial, or perhaps even a daily deal through your local news organizations, you know how powerful these systems are.


We've taken the greatest benefits (to businesses and purchasing consumers) of these types of programs, and have extended their reach and longevity (businesses don't run multiple deals through these sites, and consumers aren't usually paired with multiple offers that consistently suit their needs).


The application is free to consumers, and the marketing / advertising opportunity is sold to businesses.

Additionally, you will receive all marketing and sales collateral necessary to start reaching businesses and consumers, full access to our development team to ensure that client needs are being fulfilled, and direct contact with our Director of Sales to provide you with all pre and post-sales support you'll need. Essentially, you can view this level of investment like the purchase of a franchise or business opportunity. You will have an entire business at your disposal, with no on-going royalties, full control over marketing and sales, and the ability to grow as you see fit. This is a turnkey opportunity, so you will literally have the ability to close sales and turn a profit from day one.
  • Joint Venture Partners -- This level of investment will provide you with all of the marketing and sales collateral you will need in order to start reaching out to businesses to close sales of this marketing offering. However, you will not receive rights to the application itself. We will provide all pre and post sales support in your dealings with businesses. Upon a successfully closed sale, you will provide us with 50% of the gross sale price, and our team will set the business up in the system.
