to JV or not to JV...

Most of the JVs you find here are adswaps with additional solo ads offers. Some even claiming to have a huge buyers list getting x-thousand clicks...targeted ! If one has such a buyers list...wouldn't one want to promote high quality products for commissions instead of cashing in that puny solo ad fee ?

OK, fine....BUT...
I also see warriors reply with a JV opportunity instead of buying a solo from the particular poster, which is ALWAYS rejected with the simple reply "I only do solo's".

So, I'm wondering...why would someone rather sell solo ads instead of JV-ing with someone promoting a product, sometimes even for 100% commission, which could bring a LOT more earnings then the fee for a solo ad. Or are they affraid to lose subscribers ? Man, with the revenue coming from a promotion you could buy some paid traffic in whatever form and make up for that 10 fold...

Is it because the only way for them to make money is by selling solo's, because the list isn't as high quality as they claim it to be ? I've seen replies from warriors here paying up to 100 dollars for a solo and getting minimal results, although the seller claims to be able to get 1k or even 1500 clicks. Meaning the list used is NOT at all targeted and in now way of high quality.

Text in a thread can be deceiving and you hardly ever get any proof of click rates or conversions. Once I bought a solo ad from a guy who put in his thread he would get anyone 3k+ clicks...I got none. And don't start with "it depends on the swipe and title" and stuff, because even if you don't provide a swipe you get didly squad results...

I'd say most of the solo ads offers here are nothing but scams to rip you off, getting you results that are only or not even a tiny fraction of what's claimed in the thread or whatever info you get back in a PM.

Since review requests are now a paid section, why not make solo ads advertising a paid forum as well... To make sure only quality solo's are being sold here. How many of those starting a thread about wanting adswaps will really do swaps, instead of just referring to their signature for solo's or emphasizing the fact they do solo's in any other way ?

The WF Joint Venture section is becoming nothing more than an exhausted source where everyone is trying to compete with the most promising titles and threads/posts. No1 is helping eachother anymore, what this forum was supposed to be about.

There's no way I can trust anyone here anymore, concerning adswaps or solo ad offers. And I'm quite sure I'm not the only one suspecting this happening on the WF today.

Just my 2 cents and my worries about the WF...for now...
Mind you...I said MOST...not all.
