  But totally depends on you.
  
  The general word in the market is that 1 subscriber is worth $1 per month.
  
  So that makes my list worth about $1500 per month, or over $30k if you want to break even in 2 years

Nope, you are wrong dude. Even if you have a 2% click rate and sell only once a week, and your product is worth only $20, that is still $1600 a month from a list of 1000 people or nearly $20k a year.

More practically, you should be able to make at least $5-10k per year even in your first year from a 1000 person list.
