Some Warriors have found this thread misleading, so i have made this amendment.

4 days ago I posted my birthday promotion idea which I think will help grow the lists of all parties involved.

So to clarify my list stands at 2K and over the next year my goal is to grow that list to 100,000 using JV's and FREE Giveaways.

This is the first promotion in a series of 10 I have planned for the year.

If I don't pick up 1,500 subscribers per promotion I might as well give up as marketing is not for me.

So if you still would like to get involved then welcome aboard.

just so every one's clear, I have a list of 2K currently and I'm every the optimistic...after this promotion I will have a list of 15K.

But If for what ever reason I don't hit my target.

1) I'll be very upset

2) I wont give up until I reach that target and fulfill my promise.

It is best to start offering adswaps to your big list when you get a big list, not when you have a mere fraction of it. Next, we'll start seeing people offering adswaps to their five million subscribers when they only have 100K. Not cool.

I would suggest holding off on offering the 5,000 and 10,000 until you actually have it, my friend. I don't believe you'll find anyone willing to mail your promo to their 15k list based on a promise of future mailings from you. Work with what you have now.

I'm a newbie and I can see this sounds like someone with no list trying to trick people with lists to give him access to them.

Not a bad strategy...

I will send to 15000 on my birthday... I will send to 5000 then 10000 (doesn't have this number yet)... I have 2000... I will send to 15000 no matter how long it takes...

So in reality the smoke still clouds around this... I can only guess that you have a list of 0 and you're wanting other to provide the their lists so you can bounce a load of offers off each of the list owners to the other list owners.

I know this is essentially a JV with you been the broker mopping up everyone elses contact via some squeeze page or something but please just be truthful about it and don't try to mislead people.
