the health niche hasn't been marketed to concerns me. If no one
is serving that market, you have to wonder why, and you certainly
want to research whether or not someone has tried to before and
not done well.

I actually prefer a niche where there are lots of others because
all of those others are potential joint venture partners.

If a product is too unique, they you also often face an uphill battle
in just educating potential customers as to why they need it. I
generally want something that people are already looking for and
buying.

I of course would need to know more about your project, but my
initial reaction is to say that this is not appropriate.

Well, since you said you need a fairly large project, I guess mine goes into the middle but can be enlarged into a bigger course.
The product focuses on how to make fast cash online (here I don't mean measly $100, but 3 ways that can be leveraged)
It can be broken down into a step by step course and tutorials though and which can make the the price go from my planned price into a higher one.

and orchestrating the launch, rather than having our own

I currently have a great Wordpress plugin that is being developed. It should be finished in the next couple of weeks. With the plugin will also be a course that goes along with it to help people get the most out of the plugin.

At the moment I am thinking the product would sell between 17-59 (depending on the licensing options). For the OTO there would be a membership program and a live case study webinar.

As long as I have been on the WF (about 2 years) I think that Willie is the most credible JV broker on the net!

I saw a post somewhere tho Willie that you were charging $2,000 for a Brokerage fee. Does that fee still stand because Im more then willing to pay for it once my next product is launched and on its feet.

Im going to be selling a Wordpress Plugin that pretty much everyone with a wordpress website would need because it increases the banner CTR's be 30 - 60%... its incredible. Plus im the only one (that I know so far) that has made something like this.

So even though i want to PM you, do you still have that premium. Also as a JV broker I dont mind giving you 5%-10% on EVERY sale made by a affiliate. Also, do you prefer to use Clickbank/JVzoo/wso pro?

Let me know I want to have an action plan before I bring it up to you.

Yes, I do typically charge an upfront free plus a percentage on the
sales of all of the affiliates that I recruit.

I put a lot into a launch upfront and if you are not confident enough
to pay the upfront fee, then I have to wonder how well you have
researched your market, demand for what you are launching, etc.

Just as in offline businesses, the majority of online launches struggle,
because the product owner really hasn't done the research.

I don't prefer any given marketplace... and for the bigger launches,
you probably want to be outside all of the marketplaces mentioned,
although CB has no problem with HUGE launches.

Clickbank has a "contracts" system, where you identify partners/brokers
who are to get a percentage of your sales.

One of GGG and Sohail Khan's JV students from a few years ago here - nice to finally "talk" to you.

Down to business:-

My business partner and I have developed a piece of software that's without doubt market leading in a sector that is evergreen and generating huge volumes of sales (just last week a competing product mentioned they hit the 3,000 sale mark within a couple months of their initial launch - and it doesn't match up to anywhere near what our product can do).

The positives:-

- It's a proven seller with a decent conversion rate (we have over 300 customers in pre launch)

- We have made over 60 updates since pre-launch - this software is heavily tested and bug free

- We have case studies to prove that our software is better than anything else that's out there

- Large pool of possible customers

The negative:-

- My understanding from "big" is that you require either a high value product or a back end upsell process to make it worth your while. Our prices range from $39 - $127 and there is currently no back end product on sale.

We have been discussing the possibility of adding an upsell that we view as very complimentary and would increase your potential stake as JV broker.

I have a skin care supplement product that used to do six figures but has been lagging in recent years. The price is probably below your interest level, but the product does have a high potential for repeat business. Around half our customers reorder, with 25% sticking with us for at least 6 months.

I'm a bit confused about the words

BIG - size is a relative term
LAUNCH - if you are out for existing products, then those are most probably already launched

Anyhow, I will send you a PM as we just updated our CB product which is online since 2011 and #1 for gravity in it's niche.

We just made about 2k this week before the update from our list before we increased prices.

The product is a must have for a specific group of buyers. Competition is around but not as in the IM niche.

The course is video based, has 3 price levels starting at $97 up to $247, not a cheap product.

The reason I signed up was to locate potential JV Partners for my guranteed business funding and personal credit enhancement business. My product is almost ready.

It will be a $299 Forex News Trading Bot (EA), and the commission will be $149 per sale.

However, when an affiliate sale is made I will need to wait for the 60 Day money back guarantee to clear before I can pay commissions (otherwise if I pay commissions right away, and then someone wants a refund later, I am stuck with paying the full refund from my own money after having already given half the money to the afifliate etc.)

Anyway if this sounds like a product you would want to promote please let me know, and I can share my website and the details.

Right now, the programmer is still tweaking the EA.

As far as I know there is not another Forex EA like this one in the market, although there are Forex news spike trading software products. This EA doesn't trade News Spikes, but it does enter trades after the news spike in the direction of the deviation (the difference between the Consensus or Forecast and the Actual figure when it comes out.)

Fitness is such a huge niche that the fact that someone else is
already doing something similar to your concept doesn't mean
that you should do it.

If those already in the market are doing good, that validates
the potential, and all you need to do is find a USP, or a way
to stand out... often just being slightly different.

Look for flaws in what your competitors are doing, fix those
flaws, and perhaps make that your USP.

I have a highly evolved product that is for the home biz op and its about buying and selling cars from years of experience that is developed by a successful car dealership owner who makes 7 figures per year and the business model/system has been proven by many who have earned 6 figures in first year part time. All training is complete in PDF and video format and has continuum monthly calls training and support in place.

I would like to take this to the online market and price points are entry $97-$197 up to $1497-$1997 for full program that offers list pricing inside dealer info that costs in excess of $1000 per month normally.. This is a NO CASH down system to wealth!

I would like to know of the best possible programs that teach how to take it the the market online. I have so far Product Launch Formula by Jeff Walker..

Any other added advice to this or extra is appreciated.. also JV opportunities are welcomed.. fair split in profits etc..

Mr Crawford, there are probably few with a greater reputation for success than you, so the opportunity to work with you is exciting, to say the least.
I have developed a product to take someone with minimal or no Internet, business or IM knowledge and incrementally grow a business, offline or online that allows them to decide how big they go. This is a solid program that a single mom, recently unemployed or employed by sick of working for someone else newbie can deploy.
I've broken the program into 6 modules, slowly spoon-feeding a newbie just enough to get started with some recurring $$ they can then leverage into better/bigger earnings with the trust they have developed with their customers.
The only true competitor I have found for the first module requires a minimum 3 month contract and charges WAY too much for what they deliver and their offering is cumbersome, at best.
With Module 1, a newbie can start adding clients, see recurring revenues start to roll in and avoid anything that they can't scale.
I have also developed the modules so that a newbie doesn't start spending money until they have a "yes," but I also tell them exactly where and how to fulfill.
I'm waiting on final artwork, developing a demo site that any buyer can use to show potential clients how the first product/service works. If I was working with you, I'd probably also set up a regular mastermind call to move newbies forward.
I see the initial price point at around $147 or lower with a subscription option where I deliver a new module each month for 12 months or am open to what your experience suggests.

What kind of track record are you looking for?

For example:
Previous successful WSO's and or other launches
Years in the industry - recognised authority in your niche.

I can't understand why you and your afilliate would be willing to put your weight behind unknown and unproven product creators.

Which products have you previously launched using this format? So, that I can get an idea of the sort of thing you are looking for.

Rather than waste your time, I would like to know what it costs to hire you? I believe JV brokers lie yourself get an upfront fee, which in itself isn't chump change, plus a percentage. Doesn't seem like it is worth your time to spell out details if I don't have the cash needed to proceed if you would be interested in a product. Thus I asked this question.

However, all fees are negotiable, and based on too many factors than
I can list here, such as:

- How ready the product and sales funnel is for marketing
- How tested the product and sales funnel is
- How much verifiable demand for the product is there
- Credentials of the product creator... what will tell potential
customers that they know their topic
- The market (niche) itself
- Launch timing
- Does the product owner already have a written launch plan
- Has the product owner already launched other products or is
this his/her first launch
- Price-point of the product

Everything is negotiable, and if you are unable to pay any upfront
fees that we agree to, then I (and other JV brokers) might agree
to a higher percentage brokers commission, delayed payment of
retainer, etc.

To me, the biggest factor is quality of the product and is it
something that customer are actively searching for. Does it
solve a problem that customers are painfully aware that they
have?

I'm really interested in this. I have a product I've been working non stop on for the past 7 months in the Dating niche, it is something that sells because I've used a similar blueprint to my competitors but at the same time have introduced a huge, never before seen bonus to the product, that is my U.S.P.

It is a monthly membership program, and will be charged at $27/month, but if you're more interested in a higher priced item. Then, for the launch - I could change the price to a payment for a years access to the membership website.

Hi

The problem I see with many comments here is that people have little vision for big launches. One must consider multiple factors when considering a launch and a single ebook isn't going to cut it. If that ebook can be expanded into an ecourse then it can have additional value with a higher price point.

Lets say you had a course on 'fishing techniques of the pros'. An ebook with lots of pictures, diagrams and statistics could be expanded into a full course with videos that can be spread out over 8 to 12 weeks of timed delivery. The basic front end consumer product would sell at a price point of around $97 ($7 for 1st week and then $90 charged). This would teach the basics. To gain a higher value, the course + a regular weekly webinar would generate more perceived value. An upsell to a more advanced course for $397 and then a continuity program at $97 per month for a regular video & pdf newsletter with yet more techniques. Beyond this you are looking at creating live events where you sell high ticket courses right up to private coaching. You really need to be thinking about 7 figure a year projects and not merely a 20 page ebook - that 20 page ebook would basically be good as a disguised sales page for lead capture.

You also need to have high quality sales copy, emails, sales videos and enough information to give away free to generate the goodwill so that people will perceive you as a 'guru' in your chosen market. You need a good affiliate & payments system like Clickbank as well as a strategic JV partner page where you offer your affiliates as much help and assistance as possible - as well as a blog to keep people on their toes and keep people mailing - giving away prizes for not only highest sales, but highest click-through and highest lead capture will also keep affiliates mailing.

There is a lot of work involved in a launch, product and marketing strategy are the most important. If you want a seven-figure launch then you are going to need to have a relationship with the affiliates you want to JV with. All very accurate James. I am generally looking for a product priced at
atleast $197... preferably higher, and one that can be expanded into a
full product line is ideal. Affiliates and JV partners readily embrace such a
product.

Here's an educational interview where I actually discuss taking a simple
PLR product, even a free PLR product, and expanding it into 20 or more
highly valued derivatives that people will happily pay top dollar for:

Many of the responses that I've gotten were from people thinking WAY too
small. When I think of a million dollar launch, I can actually see myself
putting in several hundred hours working on that launch... a lot of it

I have a $5k coaching program and group where I train students on traffic arbitrage.

My average student walks away with a business earning around $2k - $5k / month.

So far, I have only taken 8 students and all have been word of mouth.

One of them approached me and asked if I would pay them a commission, so I said sure - I will pay $1k.

That got me to thinking about turning this into an actual product and hunt down 20 - 50 students over the course of 1 year.

The problem I have now, is that there is no landing page - no material - no fancy promo video.

Everything is done by hand and one on one . . .

What are your suggestions based on the above and would you be interested in helping take this to the next level?

Hi Willie,

I have been working on my product for close to a year and i'm a couple weeks away from a launch. I didn't want to rush the launch as I have been refocused on putting a top notch product together and I think I have made the final touch ups to achieve that. I have been working on assembling a sales team for the product but we might be a good match so maybe we could talk.

The product is unique in terms of content and market and from my research has no direct competition. The market will be businesses that market to other businesses currently. I'm looking at an entry price of $500ish and up and I feel this is a 7 figure product. Everything will be complete, but marketing could always be tested and improved.

I have some ideas for back end and alternate strategies that will produce other income streams but for now i'm focused on a single strategy that I think will get the most return and testing has been positive on a small scale.

Hi Mike,

Given that you are only looking for 20 - 50 students over the course of a year, you probably don't need a fancy sales funnel.

A simple landing/sales page with a video (or text) of you explaining the offer, along with testimonials from existing students, providing overwhelming proof is probably all that you need.

You could probably fill those slots via word or mouth, encouraging your students to spread the word, and asking a few other contacts to do that same.

You do want to set up a formal affiliate program, but it doesn't need to be anything fancy either.

#1 - Do you and your team create the marketing materials for the launch or are we as product developer responsible for those under your guidance ?

#2 - You mention the $197 price point. Based on that price range, are we also to provide an "upsell" and "downsell" product, and if so, what price points would you like to see those products at ?

#3 - Do you partner with a "recurring" type purchase like an ongoing membership site ? If so, what level would the monthly membership fee have to be for you to be interested ?

That's negotiable, but we generally guide the product owner in doing
this.

It really depends upon the product, and niche. While funnels with a
dozen upsells and downsells are prevalent in some niches, in other
niches, customers would be totally turned off.

I have. The level of monthly membership fees would depend upon
the product, and the value that could be demonstrated to potential
customers... which is largely a function of how good the copywriting
is.

As with the previous question, that is to an extent a function of how
good the copywriting is... and how well the benefits can be pointed out.

I personally look at a product and ask if I would pay that price for
the product, if I were the ideal target customer... and if I did, if I
would be satisfied with what I got.

It's a moving target though. Many products that would have sold
for $997 2 years ago, are being marketed for $197 or even $97
today.

It also even depends upon positioning. The product owner has to
decide which segment of the market he is targeting. Take coaching
for example. I have friends who offer $1000 coaching programs,
and I can show you a $135,000 coaching program. YOU decide which
segment of the market you're going to target but you have to be
able to demonstrate the value... to the satisfaction of the end user.

On the $5 product, you'll have trouble attracting affiliates at that
price-point. Some people do focus on selling mailing lower priced
products, but $5 is really low. Your objective is admirable... it's
just not an attract offer for potential affiliates.

So the questions I have are this:
When you say big what does that mean? Product value/sales price? longevity? Are you looking for existing products or newly developed products or software that many are responding with?
What is the broker fee and do you expect it all up front or do you do it according to your phases of development/launch?
What is it that you are looking for more specifically what niches do you prefer to work with? I am developing a product that will have many parts to it pertaining to photography. Is that something you are interested in. We already have an app that has been developed that has generated 6 figs and needs an extra boost. Is anything in the photo niche of interest to you?
