I have a list of just over 2100 people.

I find that the guys with big list are not interested in us small fry with small list.

Why don't several of us with small list joint together and do our own joint venture.

If 10 of us with small list got together and do a regular joint venture we could double our list in a few days.

If I can get enough of us little guys interested, I will set up a web page for the JV project and promote it. In fact, I will go ahead and setup a Joint Venture and anyone interested can join.

A joint venture is simple. To precipitate, you only have to setup your squeeze page to capture names and addresses and then donate a gift when they sign up. We are all doing this with some gift now.

Only extra work is sending about 3 emails to your list to promote the Joint Venture.

Hi,

You guys are all amazing.. can you please give me some tips how you guys built at least 1,000 responsive subscribers? I'm having a hard time building my list, I do have an opt-in page, a free stuff,newsletter and a mini-course to offer to my visitors once they sign up,but still i'm having a hard time adding list to my account.

Hi Guys/Gals,

My list at present is over 2100. I just lost a list of over 18,000 when my hosting company went out of business without any warning and my backup was on their server. In the future my backups will be on my hard drive. I have my own autoresponder on my server.

I bought a JV software pack last night and will be installing it today. It is a server side script.

We, the small fry can grow if enough of us get together.

Ten people with list of 1,000+ each would be mailing out to over 10,000.

It would not be unreasonable to get over 5,000 names added to each list.

The main thing to get people to sign up will be, give away a new gift with real value, not a piece of old junk.

To make money on a JV, even a small one, you can have your OTO of your product or an affiliate product.

Let's work together and get something started.

I know this is might be off topic, but I know how you feel, and I wanted to answer your question. I've got about 2300 subscribers, but a a few months ago I had about 200 and no idea how to get more

. One thing that worked well for me was paying for a featured spot in a JV giveaway event. I think most folks use article marketing, adsense and SEO to get folks to their subscriber pages, but one of the best ways to build your list is to do adswaps. You need to have some amount of subscribers for that to work, but it really does work well. Check out imadswaps dot com and you can find a group of folks with smaller lists for you to start with. If you can get around 400 on your list, we "small fries" with 2000 or so subs will probably still swap with you, as we usually have multiple lists of different sizes (my 2300 are in 4 or 5 lists, each with 400-1000). Hope that was helpful!

Also, I'm completely up for adswaps in the IM niche. 2300 subscribers, been doing adswaps regularly for around 6 months. I'm also open for a JV event if I can find the right product.
