How many people speak Spanish on The Forum?

Hello Everyone!

I would like to know how many people speak spanish (as myself), so we can launch products together and start making JVs.

I think that this a cool idea, because I am pretty sure there is a lot of people speaking my language.

    I do.
Not perfectly yet but I wouldn't mind a good occasion to practice.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

Why would I need to know Spanish to JV with you? Your English looks to be comprehensive enough.

Other than translation, wouldn't the same marketing principles apply be it Spanish or English?

Not saying the OP couldn't work quicker with a Spanish speaking partner, only that they may be limiting themselves to the pool of potentially best partnerships.

Anyway, he should probably post something in the JV section.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Marketing to Spanish-speaking people works pretty much the same: you arouse in the buyer an intense desire for your product, motivating them to buy.

Marketing to a Spanish-speaking culture works very differently: they are aroused and motivated by entirely different things.

Most of the advice here leans heavily toward American consumer culture. Go outside the borders of that, especially when you leave the English-speaking world, and a lot of the "60% of the time it works every time" principles stop working altogether.

That's why so much stuff in the WSO forum skews so heavily toward making and selling WSOs to build a list of WSO buyers so you can promote other WSOs - because people there primarily understand the WSO culture.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I heard a statistic somewhere that there are over 1 billion spanish speaking people in north, central and south America combined. I don't know if this is true or not but that's a hell of a market if someone knows how to market to the different regions.

So I guess what I'm saying is that even though I don't speak spanish there is a big market for somebody that does.

    Good Luck!!

that 1 billion sounds a bit of a number pulled out of some-one's ass to be honest..

Also the number of people speaking a language is deff not the same as 'people that speak that language whom are online' and then even further who have the means and trust to actually spend money online.

Here are some stats. I don't know how true they are though:
Latinos in the United States, the statistics, graphs, charts, trends,

on top of that they are already few years old.

I don't doubt that the numbers aren't that accurate. I'm just trying to say there is a pretty big market within the spanish speaking community and for someone who knows how to can make a lot of money. Also I would not just market online but consider offline as well.

People are people no matter where they live or what language they speak. A marketer has got to find out what works in different locations and use that knowledge to help the people solve a problem. People are always looking for solutions of one type or another and it's up to the marketer to help them find it.

You're right. As of '08 there were about 450 million Spanish speakers worldwide. I doubt it has more than doubled in four years to bring the worldwide numbers to what that poster claimed. Forget about just the Americas lol.

I didn't claim anything Joe. I stated that I heard a statistic and in the next sentence said I didn't know if it was true or not. And in the next post I responded to Steve and said I don't doubt the numbers are wrong. And yes I should have looked it up before posting so next time I will and not let CRS take over.

The whole point of my post was to let the OP know there is a big market for the spanish speaking people.

Hi Alejandro, this is Alex from Buenos Aires too :-)
I live in La Paternal, Capital.
I'd be glad to work with you.
I'll send you a PM with my contact details, just in case you'd like to chat a bit.

BTW, I believe that it is not allowed to write posts in Spanish in the WF?

I have no issues working with 100% English speaking people, so... if any of the persons who replied to this post have plans to do something in the Spanish speaking market, I'll be glad to help.

    Thanks!
    Alex
