I am no-longer working with this business model, or technology-I discovered the China market to be very difficult to convert-they have a very different browsing/buying culture; this is not a criticism, just an observation. Let me know if you are interested in developing Membership site networks, this is what I am currently looking at.

Cheers

Check out the demographic of baidu.com here: Baidu.com Traffic and Demographic Statistics by Quantcast

I tried to advertise to the Chinese market, it didn't go so well. I have no idea what they buy.

^ Amen. Lesson One: IT ISN'T FREE ENTERPRISE, it is THE HOUSE WINS.

You're talking about a nation that uses prisoners to mine gold from videogames.

I'm going to give you the short answer about doing business in China:

Never put in what you are not prepared to lose entirely.

Unless you have a really good online contact whom you trust. Then you can really have nothing but happiness.

Hi. I live in China. If you market through tabao.com, you will do OK, or maybe very well. Check it out with chrome, but if it reverts you to hk, just get on through baidu.com.

It is amazing how Chinese use the internet vs. westerners. There is more money to be made there than here. I actually wrote about this not that long ago; the lessons beauty sellers are learning from doing business in China in particular are amazing. Heck, the Victoria's Secret of China had an entirely online business model from day one.

It really is simple what the Chinese will buy. Make any of your services or products cheaper than what they already are getting then MAYBE they will buy.

Otherwise they will just copy yours, make it cheaper and sell on their own.

Also if you plan to go into China to do offline business, then you had better KNOW someone in China who has the connections for your business, otherwise you'll have no chance.

How do i know? Go figure.
