Help Selling My Domain Names

Well not sure how exactly this would work but I was wondering if any of you have ever carried out JVs working with others to sell domain names and if anyone would like to JV with me to sell some of my domain names not websites just domain names as I never seem to find the time to do this.

    I am a former domain names Broker. But i may refer you to some of my Broker friends with 15,000+ domain investors list with weekly newsletter that you can list your good domains at if the pricing is reasonable. PM me for more info.

    If by JV you mean finding someone to broker them for you, the domains will have to be pretty good to get any interest. Non-premium domains are not easy to sell.

    I would suggest looking over at dnforum for people who do that professionally.

      Hi Allen:

      Have you tried to sell them on online domain market places such as Godaddy, Sedo, SnapNames and other places. They let you list for free but in return they charge you some commissions after the sale of the domain.

        I'm working on selling some of my domains as well. Seems that "reasonable price" is a flexible term though...

        Quite a few of them I've held for years - and it would be great to at least recoup my investment... Others, I am hoping to sell at a profit.

    Brokers will only work with you if you have premium domains. Otherwise, it's really not worth their time. You might be better off just trying to sell them on some domain marketplace like Afternic, Sedo, or Flippa.

      It doesn't cost anything to host your domains there and takes only minutes to add apps that turn them into little mini sites that will attract traffic over time and generate advertising revenue until you figure out what you want to do with your domains.

      I know that if a domain is getting traffic and making money, it will interest a broker a whole lot more than if it's just sitting there collecting dust. Thanks for the reminder - I still have to list mine too! Add Professional Procrastinator to my list of talents~~.:rolleyes:

    I would start by listing the domain names at GoDaddy, Afternic, Sedo and Bodis. A couple of teh names you have are quite good so they may get excepted into Sedo great domain auction.
    Alternatively if you need a broker check out TobyClements.com but he will only list good domains. OfflineSelling and ProductMaking are your best 2.

    Don't go for the domain markets..
    Try look for inviduals or webstie which are interested in your domain if it's releated to their niche

        With those kind of names the best route is list on sedo with a buy it now price and wait. Brokers are for serious premo stuff.

    I guess it's like anything else. Be creative in WHO needs that domain. Try and find them. Where would those people "hang out" on the web, any specific forum? Then, let it be know.
