It's very difficult to find such profiles mate, the good developers do not trust marketers that think they have a genius idea and want them to work for free and take all the risk, and the bad developers well ... they're bad

You should offer some kind of incentive, say the dev makes $1000 per month freelancing, you could say "we partner up 50-50 but I pay you $500 per month to show my commitment and faith in the project, and i'll get what I paid you back when the project starts making money" that would interess more people i believe!

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not looking for people like this.

I've done millions of dollars online and have a great reputation. I would never do something silly to ruin it for a few thousand dollars worth of work.

50-50 is definitely not an option for this project. We would be looking at about 15-20% of the share to web developers.

All the risk is on me and the investors. We are investing well into the five figures to make this company work. What we need is dedicated web developers, not one that wants to work for pennies.

Experienced developers will always be wary of this kind of thing. Half the sites I've worked on have never made any money, and that goes from one man start ups to listed companies.

So if you want the best, offer some kind of money up front.

You've worked for the wrong companies man.

We have over $50k invested into the company by investors. This isn't some random project that has $100 poured into it and depends solely on luck.

I need ENTREPRENEURS. These people don't need to be super-class developers, they just need to know what they are doing and be willing to work when we require it. It's as simple as that. I don't need top class. I just need the job done.

If someone is looking to get out of the 9-5 cycle of programming 24/7 for pennies on the dollar then this is for them. Yes, there is risk involved, as mentioned, but if we succeed each of our developers can have a residual $5k - $30k/mo income without much effort (just doing upgrades and maintenance).

For the record, we already have three DEDICATED developers working on this project that are doing a great job.

Seriously, you have invested $50K and not a dime on actual developers yet? Was all that money spent on design work? LOL seems to me like you should develop the product first so you actually have a product... and then start getting investors and spending money on ... (whatever you spent 50K on)... and THEN you would not be begging for developers to help you for free. But that's just my opinion... and I am both a marketer AND developer.

Well clearly you don't have any serious entrepreneurial experience. I've started up an eight figure company with a few buddies, along with multiple successful startups. I know my way in and around the field. I'm not prepared to give you any information on what and how I do it, but the way I do things is appropriate and is proven to establish successful companies.
