  I have what I believe is a new concept on email in-boxes that would solve a lot of problems with email and info overload in IM as well as in general commerce.
  
  Its only a user-spec at this moment. I've proved some of the concepts using free tools.
  
  Have no expertise to develop the system proper, although I have in the past developed (spec'd and had developed) a complete software system in another field entirely.
  
  I am confident it would sell in the thousands as a very nice WSO for the first phase of development, which would then fund the 2nd and 3rd phases to take it into the commercial world.
  
  I also have a great domain registered with it in mind, although there are any number of names that could be used of course.

Daniel,

would you recommend anyone in your area who's ready to purchase the site I told you about? They could simply make $1,000-1,500 a sale if marketed correctly. With enough SEO, they can easily make $10k a month in net profit. It's all about the marketing

The problem is that we all might be sharing with you our awesome highly profitable ideas and don't know if you are going to pick anyone. And idea is worth $1,000,000. Well mine are like that, but then you will have it and I or neither of us will be picked to set it to make it work with you.

I'm almost reaching the $1.000.000 mark in sales with an idea that I started working on almost 2 years ago. I'm about to start the 2nd project which will be a lot bigger, but how can I trust that you will take it and forget about me telling you picked someone else (or maybe none of us posting to you here) :-)

I'll give you a perfectly honest answer.

That mindset isn't going to get you anywhere in the way of investment.

Granted, it is important to keep your ideas close, however, not so much as to hinder the business you could potentially generate if you took a leap of faith.

I can tell you I've been working with one member here consistently since I started this thread.

We did $6k in sales last week.

I'm not in this to steal anyone's ideas - if I'm not interested I'll be blunt - that's a given so I don't waste your time. I have expressed a number of offers to people, of which I've either conducted background checks and chosen to withdraw.. or people have backed out.

Good answer Daniel. To be honest, there is nothing new under the sun. If the person is so concerned, get agreements in place. Yes, that does not guarantee that people won't scam you but if that is the case, no one will ever work with people through fear. Daniel seems like a good guy, and to be honest, you should be taking this opportunity and doing your appropriate checks privately. I have met some good people on this forum - do your due diligence - in private!

I produce and host a TV show called Horse Talk TV ( Home) that broadcast across Australia 2008-2013. The series also currently broadcasts in the USA & Europe to over 20 million viewers. I have a website that supports the show with videos and an online shop that sells products for horse lovers . The website at its busiest attracts 20K unique visitors a month and at its slowest attracts a minimum of 7,000 uniques.
