How can I share this launch and profits with warriors

Hi Folks,

I am lucky to have a great responsive list that buys pre-releases from me.
I can build a pretty good pitch page, and convert well.

When I compile a great new list (I sell downloadable lists of all kinds) I simply make it available to my subscribers before the general public at a great price. Send them to a video pitch page, say hi, explain the list etc.. and let them buy it.

Works like a charm.

BUT...

Obviously I am not the only one with responsive lists :-)

I am about to release a just compiled (servers still chugging away)
a CD-Rom with 23 Million Business Contacts broken out by State.

It will likely retail on my site for $799

I will of course do a "pre-release" sale to my existing customers
at a reduced price that will make them think I am intoxicated.

What would be the best method of finding other list owners with subscribers that would be interested in such a list (or indeed any list under the sun, cause we can get them)

and getting them to blast their list for a significant piece of the pie.

(I am talking dance around the room, oh my gosh this guy rocks, kinda piece of the pie).

How do I make sure my partners get paid properly etc...
Handle refunds/chargebacks etc...

Do I have to go the overkill route of setting up IDev affiliate?
Is there an easier way?

Any guidance greatly appreciated.

Hi Pierre,

Firstly you sound as if you are an established player in the list marketing business so you should have good grasp on who your competitors are. This may sound a little against the trend but why don't you get in contact with some of them to find out if they are interested in promoting your new CD to their own lists?? Could be a good source of traffic?

You can also advertise your JV opportunity in the JV thread on this site and in other forums.

As for paying affiliates, you can investigate the pros and cons of CLICKBANK and/or PAYDOTCOM. Both offer the ability to set affiliate commissions and pay affiliates in a timely manner.

You may want to try and find a good JV Broker that would
know where to find the people you are looking for... off the
top of my head,
