And you'll surely be successful. It takes time, but it's worth it in the long run. I'm really curious to see what kind of success Twadder customers will have after a year or two of using it. It's only been out 6 months, and I get emails from people who have 50k-100k followers in their circle.

Maybe he should pull the plug on it, dont see why he should but he must be really hacked off with some of the crap he has put up with.

I believe this would make your software even more powerful and build the twitter following even faster.

I'm thinking of writing a small twitter report of the stuff I use to build up my followers, and Twadder is right up there on the list. I use other stuff but Twadder is so simple and easy to use, it really is a no brainer as someone else has said.

I may get this software but my only concern is that it seems to need some .net framework thingy & microsoft has been trying to install a .net framework (1.1 service pack 1) update on my puter for the past week and it has failed to install every time.

I'm on the brink of buying though.

Yes, in the next version which I am polishing up right now. But I must add, this feature was originally in twadder and removed because people thought it was locking up constantly. It isn't locking up, it just requires patience.

Thanks guys for your kind words. A lot of customers have been really great, and most are very happy with the product. This is why I am continuing to develop the software, since all updates are free I am not going to make more by doing so, but I feel like it's a good product that can get a lot better. That's why I keep working on it.

This software requires the .net framework (version 3.5) and will not run without it.

I would suggest installing .net even if you don't buy my software. It's free and only takes a few minutes. You are missing out on a lot of great software by not having it, and it really does add a lot to your experience.

Alrightie, I'm in. I bought the program last night. Haven't installed it yet because I've been busy. Finally managed to fix my .net framework update issues with Microsoft. Had to uninstall them all and start from scratch. Now I have .net frmwrk 1.0 installed with the update, but I'm gonna try to find out if I need to download and install 2.0 and 3.0 in order to install 3.5 without any problems.

I'm looking forward to some good results. I ran through the whole thread so if I have any questions, it shouldn't be any that you've heard before in here.

You should be able to install 3.5 from scratch, as it will load in libraries for all the past versions.

This has been asked before. I have not used Guru elite, but I can tell you this: If you're looking for a friend adder, this is an easy comparison.

You do have to log in daily. This is not a web based product, for two reasons:

1. If it's web based, all functions would come from one IP, for ALL my customers. Twitter is pretty generous now, but if they wanted, they could ban my entire customer base with the click of a button. Twadder is a desktop app, so each customer gets their own IP.

2. If it's web based, everyone goes to the same place to do work. This means at the busiest times, things would slow down. Twadder is run from desktops, so there is no "peak times" and it's always fast.


But, there are some downsides also, updates are manual, and scheduling is much, much harder. However I am researching some ways right now to make this possible. But no matter what, you will have to have a program running on your machine to schedule tweets from it.

I have just had to unfollow a whole load of tweeps (I broke the 2000 limit and hit that ratio you spoke about).

So my question is should I open a new account to run twadder on? If I add a 100 a day I will very quickly reach the 2000 again

I have downloaded it and it looks interesting. One quick question which slightly concerned me was that I added some people using a specific term and it showed up some people that I know that account was already following.

It would be awesome if a future version would allow you to open up all the twitter accounts you are using at the same time rather than having to log into each one individually.

Would be great if you put in a default number in the maximum people to follow. I forgot on the first run through. Fortunately it was a low mentioned search term but would have been a disaster if it hadnt and my account got banned! As a boring aside you misspelt recommended in that panel.

Is there any way you can stop it refollowing people you have unfollowed for any reason?

One final comment is that you should register this with oneforty.com which is a holding page for all the twitter programs. If you could get a few purchasers from here to big it up then I am sure it would drive some sales your way!

Really sorry to hear about the problems you have had with paypal. Maybe you should look at a different payment provider for this software. Would be a shame if you stopped developing it as it has the potential to be big.

I purchased it yesterday. I still comparing it with Guru Elite. The advantage of Guru Elite is you can see details of your targeted people that you follow but your software I cant see those. However, for Guru Elite, it is a monthly fee and limited number of profiles.

Yes, that's something that's actually fixed in the version I'll be releasing this version. It shows whether you have followed someone or not already.

I may add this is a future addition, but I have to ask, why would you want to? You would end up following all the same people, so you really aren't increasing your reach as much, but it's been requested before so I'm going to try to fit it in.

Great it safeguards it at no more than 100 followers.

This will be included in the next update, which will be released this week. I'm having a bug that's really bothering me, and you have to take some weird steps to get to it, but I am not 100% ready to release it yet. But I plan on working on it for a few days and getting it up to snuff. It includes a database driven system to store all your login details.

One other issue I had was that on one of my twitter accounts I entered a wrong password (caps lock on) and twadder kept logging in incorrectly. I wasnt paying attention so didnt close it down and it ended up temporarily logging me out. Well I say temporarily but it was 24 hours or so, partly I suspect because Tweetdeck kept trying to log me in using what became an incorrect password. Anyway was a bit frustrating.

however more my error than yours so dont let that put anyone off ordering this great bit of software, still be good if it wouldnt keep logging in!

Might be worth it only attempting to log in once.

I am also concerned getting up to the 2000 following mark on a few accounts that I am about to start unfollowing from that when I refollow I will be refollowing the same people I followed before. Any way to avoid that yet? And if there isnt will it be coming in a later version?

The update is going to be released this week. It's almost ready to go, but I have a few things that are working slow.

I apologize for the lack of updates recently, but I've been terribly busy with my 9-5 and I've only been able to devote an hour or two here and there to Twadder, and most of my free time is spent answering questions and providing support.

This is one of the reasons I am so hesitant to update until everything is perfect, because there are a lot of users, and if I leave any known bug in there people will blow up my inbox and I'll never get anything done. And right now I have a performance issue with one of the functions under certain conditions, and I will get blasted with emails about it if not fixed.

I guarantee it will be worth the wait, it's an entirely different product and I've added some really good features. I just need to clean up some performance issues with this one function.

I have bought this little piece of software and I have to say I am very much impressed with the way this works. If you can keep your followers updated with interesting content like Jeremy says then you don't need much time to get around that 10,000 followers. I now have 10 accounts and some of them have 2000 followers and some have relatively less followers because of keywords that I target. Hope this helps people who need a review to buy this.

But I am having problems to Unzip your new version. The zip files downloaded successfully but everytime I unzip, the same kind of error came out. I have tried unzip both zip files from two different links you gave.

Did you install SQL server during the install process?

This version requires the .Net framework and SQL server, and they will install them as long as there isn't some kind of problem with it.

Also, try uninstalling the old version,. The new version does everything 1.2 did, so it doesn't hurt. As far as I know you can run both versions, but if you're having problems, uninstall it, download the newest version and install. Your license should stay the same.

I also face the same problem. I installed SQL server (my PC already has .NET framework), uninstalled the old version of Twadder, and I even uninstalled and installed the new version many times but the error still comes out.

Make sure and download the newest version here:

And whenever it asks to download something (.net, SQL etc) let it do it, and it should work fine. I have been testing this on several machines this afternoon and it should work fine.

There is a risk for sure, but I haven't heard of anyone getting banned from doing that. Usually you have to be doing something that get's Twitter's attention.

What I mean is, they don't start checking that kind of stuff till they get spam complaints. If you are posting porn or spamming people with constant links, people will post the report spam button and then they look at your account.

Personally I have switched between 10-15 accounts in the same day without a problem and many of my customers even more.

Yes you can as long as you won't be using it. The license is per person, and if you try to use it at the same time as the outsourcer, it may not work.

Note:

You must have the .Net Framework Installed to use this product.

You have to.

There is simply no way to bypass this step, if you don't have it installed, it will not work. Period.

I am receiving a high amount of emails about this, and you can save yourself a lot of time by just letting the installer install it.

It only takes a few minutes, and is required by most of the newer marketing software out there.

The .Net framework is a REQUIREMENT for this software to work. It will not work without it.
