| "Boost Your Website Sales or Optins and Create a Sense of URGENCY Using My Powerful Wordpress Countdown and Limited Time Offer Plugin" This Plugin is Perfect for Product Sales Letters, Email Squeeze Pages, Affiliate Landing Pages and More! Dear Fellow Warrior, Some time ago I was up late at night unable to sleep. I was flipping through channels on the TV trying to find something to good to watch. I eventually landed on an infomercial featuring the late Billy Mays. Although I do not recall the exact product he was selling, I do know it caught my attention. As a matter-a-fact, I actually reached for the phone when he said "if you call in the next 30 minutes, I'll double your order!". Before I actually grabbed the phone I thought of something. I had been leaving out one important component in my sales pages and squeeze pages. That component was the Sense of URGENCY. I was completely leaving it out of my sales pages! This epiphany led me to develop my latest product... I am proud to introduce the WP Countdown Limited Time Offer Plugin. This is a very powerful plugin that allows you to create a Sense of URGENCY for all your website visitors. You will be able to set a countdown clock on your product sales page or email squeeze pages and give your customers an incentive to make a purchase or provide their email address before the countdown expires and the incentive expires. In addition, this plugin will work great for product launches or sales specials that expire on a specific date. You will simply setup a countdown with a specific expiration date and the clock will countdown until time expires. At that point, the offer will redirect to another page of your choosing. You can actually see this plugin in action on my sales page by clicking here (just remember not to buy from that link because the special WSO price is below!). The WP Countdown Limited Time Offer Plugin is perfect for:
How Does the WP Countdown Limited Time Offer Plugin Work? I had two goals in mind when I had this plugin developed. The first goal was to create an option that could countdown to a specific date in the future and then have the page or post be redirected when the countdown expired. This option would be perfect for product launches, time-limited sales events, etc. The second goal was to create another option that would allow marketers to have dynamic countdown clocks for each website visitor. This option would be perfect for creating a sense of urgency for each web visitor to make a buying decision or opt-in before the clock expired. The great thing about this option is it is unique to each website visitor. I’m very excited because this plugin has both of these options built-in and you can use each option multiple times in the same Wordpress blog or website! Take a look at the plugin options panel screenshot below: ![]() This Plugin is Amazingly Simple to Use! If you are familiar at all with using Wordpress, you will have no problems using this plugin. You can setup a new countdown in seconds and then easily insert it into any Wordpress post or page! If you are new to Wordpress, you should be able to use this plugin too. We have put together a step-by-step user guide with photo tutorials to show you every step of the process. Here are some features of the WP Countdown Limited Time Offer Plugin:
Checkout this Video Demonstration of How Easy it is to Use! What are Some of the Potential Uses for this Plugin? Your mind is probably spinning by now with thoughts and ideas of how you can use this plugin in your online business. Here are some of my ideas on how it can be used:
These are just a few of the ideas for how to use this plugin in your Wordpress-powered website or blog. You can probably think of many more ways to use it too! Want to See Some Demos of the Plugin in Action? To help you realize some of the possible uses for the WP Countdown and Limited Time Offer Plugin, I’ve created several demo pages and posts to showcase some of its potential uses:
So How Much Does this Plugin Cost? This plugin is available to the general public right now for just $47 USD. As a Warrior, you get this powerful plugin for a measly $27. Depending on the revenue you earn for each sale or commission, your purchase price here could be recouped in only a few sales. This is a POWERFUL product that is meant to help you earn more. Hi A question. When the redirect takes place and the visitor is redirected, can they use the back button to return to the same page? Reason I ask is that some scripts appear to be countdowns but you can actually easily go back and the timer starts again. Secondly, if they manually type in the url after expiration what happens? Will they be redirected to the redirect page based on cookie settings? Thanks |

Once the redirect is set, even if the user hits the back button, they should be redirected. There may be a split second that they can see the page/post, but not near enough time to read or click on anything. If they manually type in a URL, it should redirect just the same. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks! Jason

Hi Jason, Just curious but can the user just delete cookies, clear cache and re-open the web address to see the timer again? The reason I ask is that many times a users browser is set by default to delete all this information so the next time they check on the count down it will show again where the coutdown left off and if there is a countdown for 2 minutes it will reshow 2 minutes again when they come back. If this is entirely server based time and it is compared to the users initial session time and stored somehow then this would be something I would be interested. Just need some clarification as I have used many countdowns. Thanks Jason Frank Bruno P.S- I did test this by clearing cookies, cache, history and re-opened the window and it seems to be working correctly but I did not close the browsser completely to test completely. (I'm working on some stuff and don't want to close m browser) |

Thanks for your questions. The plugin is set to continue counting down even if the browser is closed. As for cookies, if the user clears cookies and cache, the per session counter most likely will reset. Please feel free to PM or email me if you have more questions. Jason

Hi Can a user go back to the same page AFTER they have been redirected? In other words, can they ignore the countdown timer because they know that they will still be able to go back by typing in the url? Thinking of the savvy Internet Marketers here ![]() Cheers |

If the user knows to clear cookies or isn't using cookies, he or she will be able to go back to the same page after redirection. If not, they shouldn't be able to. Thanks. Jason

Hi Jason Not sure if you got my PM yesterday but I'm very interested in this plugin. Just curious if it's been tested on WP 3.0? Since your WSO came out almost a year ago, it must have been WP 2.8 or something. Have you tried it on at least 2.92 and hopefully 3.0? If not, can you please test it and confirm it works specifically for 3.0? Here's what I want to do: 1) Create multiple pages that are specifically for one client. Say I send 50 clients to my site, each client will go to a specific page for each of them. I'd like to have the countdown on each page. 2) After either 24 or 48 hours, I want the url I send them to redirect to my homepage. Obviously if they're web savvy they can clear cookies but if not, I'd like them never to be able to access my special offer (for each 50 pages). I assume that's what this does. Btw, if I buy it and it doesn't work on WP 3.0, you offer a refund, correct? Cheers Scott |

Hey wfjb, just to let you know, I got it to work in Firefox using WP 3.0. Thought I'd come back and mention Chrome. It works in Chrome for me too but since Chrome has it's own cookies, it's starting afresh. I set it for 2 days starting on the 28th. It's got 12 hours left in FF and Chrome just started. Just closed my Chrome browser and it's continuing the countdown. I haven't seen the redirect yet because I have 12 hours left but so far it seems to be working, even after restarting my computer a couple times today. Have you double-checked your cookies aren't disabled? |

Just bought it, Jason! Great idea, I hope it works all well with WP3. Btw, can I use it on wordpress pages? Also, can I hide the page/post somehow from the public? Thanks, Veit |

Yes, it has been testing on WP 3+ and is working fine with no reported issues. You can easily hide the page using the "Exclude Pages" plugin or another one like it. Just search for it in the WP plugin repository.

This is great! I'd like to put the Countdown above my header image on all pages. How do I embed the necessary code into the header.php file to make this work? Thanks for the great work on this. |

Jason, I bought your plugin and it installed successfully. However, when I went to "activate" it, WP gave me the following error: "Plugin does not have a valid header." Please help. Thanks. |

You need to unzip it first, then upload the plugin itself. Sorry for the confusion on that. I also replied to your email with more specifics. Jason

I love Wordpress just for this reason. If there's something you want to do...there is a good chance someone else already did it and turned it into a plugin. One feature request. Would be great to have the option to have an invisible countdown. We are setting up a perpetual launch with 3 videos. On the third video, we'll basically tell them they have 2 or 3 days to make a decision. However, I want to expire all 3 videos, but I don't want to show the timer on the page. (I suppose I could make both text and background white and then it won't be as obvious, but it isn't as elegant either). Anyway...as a feature request, could you add an option for "show/hide timer"? Thanks! Great plugin! |

Hello, I purchased this plugin about an hour ago but it is not working for me. I uploaded the "countdown" folder to my plugin directory, activated the plugin, added a new countdown, pasted the code into a page and post using "html mode" in editor, changed the "countdownXX" to "countdown1" which corresponds with one of the countdowns I created and then published the page and post. The only thing that happens is that I can see a bit of the "highlight" on the page, but no countdown timer. I tried using default wordpress theme and also disabled all other plugins to check for compatibility, but no dice. You can see the page I have added the timer here INTRODUCTORY OFFER | 360 Island Tours Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Hi there I am interested in this plugin but have a couple questions before I buy 1) will it work with custom post types (e.g. products that are posted in an e-commerce set up such as WPecommerce?) 2) Is the entire code in the plugin (rather than some of it being hosted on your server - such as other plugins do!) and is that code editable so that we can customise it? I want to have full control over the look of the timer and style. 3) What's the latest version? Is it cross-browser compatible? 4) What's the difference between your plugin and the page expiration robot? (I have to say I like the look of their UI - can you do that too :-)) WordPress › Page Expiration Robot « WordPress Plugins Thanks ! |
