I already had e-mail contact with Joe about the wrong choise using a silly payment processor (Plimus).
I have tried to order this package last night and had problems with the purchase.

Some problems i definetely want to be clear.

-. On Joe's websites he mention that "Immediate download of the unencoded WordPress plugins."

And there we have exactly 2 wrong statements.

1. There is no "imidiate download" as i have wait 12 hours from Plimus to get a refund because they could not verified me (WTF! my Paypal is verified since 2003!!) because they want to have a phone conversation with me (Hello?!?! is this an FBI interview or what?!).

2. Unencoded Wordpress plugins, wich is not completely true even there is one file encrypted (wich actually is).


Be honest Joe if you mention "unencrypted plugins" and "imidiate download" wich are not true.
And just a tip: stop using Plimus as (web 1.0) payment processor.

All other Warriors using REAL imidiate download after payment (such as e-junkie, but e-junkie wasn't good enough in your opinion but there are plenty other good alternatives).

I want to come right out and preface this with an apology that you've had issues with the payment processor. I never received any correspondence from you about this particular issue (you did tell me you didn't like Plimus prior to ordering).

Unfortunately, you're the only user who has had issue with Plimus. I just looked at my statistics and exactly one order has ever been held for manual verification (I assume it was yours), which I asked Plimus and they said they only do hold orders when they believe an order is fraudulent. I apologize that your order was deemed fraudulent if it indeed wasn't: if you had contacted me directly about this, we could have resolved the issue promptly.

For all other users, the email is sent out immediately with an immediately active download link. Roughly 400 users have received this download link immediately - while only one (you, I assume) has been held for validation.

As for the encoded license.php file. This file contains no functionality a user would want to edit. Furthermore, its written in such a way that even if the license check fails, the script still works - meaning that any concerns about not being able to use the script on the unlimited domains you are entitled to is moot. THAT SAID, I give out the unencoded version readily to any user's who have a problem or need to remove the licensing system. In fact, I readily remove the licensing system for anyone who asks - its there to keep pirates at bay, not for legitimate customers. All it takes is a single email (send me an email and I'll send it your way). :-)

I'd like to repeat, there's been exactly one case of an order being deemed fraudulent. Having experience in other script markets where fraud is quite rampant, I'm impressed how well Plimus has dealt with the issue on my behalf.

Get in touch with me personally and I'll resolve your fraud issue. I won't post publicly what the issue was, but its an issue that any other high-security fraud-screening system (such as web hosting, or other retailed software products) would have wanted to confirm your order for too.

Im sorry i missed this post, so hereby my late reply.
I can tell you what the issue was, i did not mention my phonenumber within the order process.
So they have send me an email that they really want my phonenumber to verify my order.

The whole process makes no sense at all if you know that i am an affiliate with Plimus (not my own products) for over a year already, so they know who i am.

I already had multiple times contact with you via email to ask you if it was possible to send you the amount for the plugins manually via Paypal but that was impossible (your own words).

I have to say that these are plugins that appear really subtle when you install them, as they (mostly) do not show until you are creating a post...but the capabilities that they add are quite powerful!

I also have to add...there was a cross over with my paypal email and the email used for the download when I got version 1. so I was not cued for the update...got in touch, and Joe gleaned over the records and fixed it all up!

he takes extra effort that a lot of people are NOT lately...I will keep this in mind with my own business

pps- in regards to "mister cranky" in this thread...Joe sent me an email that he had 'told' Plimus to send a link to the v2 downloads...Plimus beat his mail to the box by 1 minute...I also received some php code that I have licensed from a programmer this evening...and again I got the DL within 5-6 minutes of payment...so it seems to be a decent service in my experience.

I have to agree with the earlier poster and say that plimus is a bad choice. I am being told that I have to pay VAT on this because I am in the UK which really rubs me up the wrong way. As far as I can remember I have never had to pay VAT on a digital product before.

Worked that out for rockingcow already, but: VAT is standard on all digital products sold by non-EU vendors who wish to maintain a business presence in the EU.

call me nuts, as it is 2.30AM here in China and I´m just watching North Korea against Brazil, but I´d like to confirm that I´ll get both pluings, so the Smart Tools AND Link Engine Basic with your WSO. Also checked it on you sales pages, but I´m confused about the "light". Is there a "better" version?

Second question: How does the countdown in smart tools work? I´d like to have something that still shows the countdown if the page is relaoded, should read sth. with cookie or even IP support. There is another WP plugin available, that is able to behave like I´d like it to do and I wouldn´t mind also buying that.

That leads me to question 3: Can I deactivate features that I don´t need from the backend? I prefer loading as less as necessary, especially when it comes to database requests and ajax. Also I don´t like exit pop-ups, but will use layers, that will show a light box with an opt-in form when somebody comes to the "upper fold" (have no glue how to describe this, should read when sbdy. is on his way to close the page). So I´d like to deaktivate that specific plugin (the lead saver) and would include some other fancy code with another fancy plugin.

Already signed up for your aff-programm, but my policy (on my new blog, which I haven´t started yet) will be that I first test and then write a recommendation (same for my list).
