Can the keyword be a phrase of more than one word rather than just a single word?

I installed a free similar plugin recently but it was a mess. Yours looks real good.

Can we control how many of these words will be turned into links and how does the plugin choose which of them to link ?

i.e. if we wanted to link only the "Blogging" keyword 3 x's.... example:
In the first sentence,
3rd paragraph
Last paragraph

Do we have this amount of control?

Or will the plugin choose the first 3 instances of " blogging " it comes across and turn those into links leaving the last 3 unlinked ?


Also, when the keyword appears more than once in a post will all the links be different or point to the same CB product if CB was chosen ?

Hi there,

For making the same keyword linked multiple time, it will choose to "linked" the 1st "x" number. Let say you have 10 "blogging" in your blog, and when using IWPL you specify only to link 5, it will make the first 5 as URL

As on the 2nd question, if CB is chosen and you have more than 1 keyword, each keyword will be linked to different CB product. The same applies to Paydotcom.

Love the product. Just have a quick question. I may be missing something, but I would like to know, in the demonstration video, it shows how you link to clickbank, and the ensuing hover over the link, shows the description of the product..AND a picture.

I do not get thumbnail picture. Did I miss something? I like the little picture idea, and I have tried just about everything.

I know you can enter a picture for something you want to display, if it is within the pixel size, but......
Question is this, if the CB product is at random, how does the picture come up for display?

Hope you can point me in the right direction.

To get the thumbnail, you need to do 2 things

1. Set the cache folder to 777
2. Get the API and Secret Key from our partner Shrinktheweb. You can get a free account there and put both API/Secret key and put it in the global setting

the picture of the CB/PDC product are generated on the fly, and will be cached. The source of the picture is the homepage of CB/PDC prodcut.

I have a suggestion.

A date feature to specify the date range of posts to convert they keywords to links would be very useful.

For example, I can set only posts of a certain age in number of days, weeks or months to be converted.

It would be good to be able to not convert the recent posts so your blog's frequent readers do not get bombarded frequently with affiliate links.

Changing permissions to 777 on a WordPress file does not make me feel very secure from hackers.

If we don't want to use the thumbnail images, can we use the default folder permissions (not use 777)?

Yeap you are right. If you do not use the thumbnail images, you can certainly leave that out.

It should be quite safe though to change the folder to 777, because the script will be calling a hashed image file. So basically it will be close to impossible to sniff something in side there and call it.

Quick question: If I set my blog to have future posts, say 1 post/day for 30 days, and I have the word "love" set-up to link to products, will this plugin automatically activate future "love" words in my posts, or do I need to go in and activate all these new "love" words in posts?

Hi Ann,

I use it, it will do them automatically, up to the count number you choose to have it to work for. So if you set "love" to 5 times, every time a new page is made, or any new posts made to the page, it starts at the top and goes down, and makes the first 5 "love" words active.
