It's no more difficult than installing any other php
script.

It requires a MySQL database, uploading a few
files, configuring permissions and admin settings
and you're good to get started.

To set up a product you need to enter price details
and your sales copy.

With what payment systems does this work?

The script is set up to work with PayPal.

Someone should hand John a medal for taking this idea and running with it. Running with it and actually producing a fantastic product. I do a lot in terms of resale right because here at crazy marketing towers we turn out a lot of products.

Allowing others to resell your products is a great way to gain leverage but trust me - I have had poor quality marketers resell my high end products for peanuts.

That makes me angry and the other people that bought.

John's system does away with that. 100%. I really don't think anyone can argue with that. If you have any interest whatsoever in resale rights you need to buy this.

Is it necessary to charge a reseller fee or can a person just sign up as a reseller?

If giving resell rights to a membership, what would happen to the paying customers if the reseller has to be removed from the program... do the subscription payments still go to the former reseller? I assume they do, but I've been trying to find a solution to that.

Does this work only for 100% payments, or can it be split like RAP?

Any chance we can see the reseller's panel?

You can set the reseller fee at zero.

If giving resell rights to a membership, what would happen to the paying customers if the reseller has to be removed from the program.

The script is not specifically designed to handle memberships. However, it will work when selling wholesale memberships with a single fee. Handling recurring payments through a reseller would require some additional coding.

Does this work only for 100% payments, or can it be split like RAP?

100% payments only.

Hi,
I do not know if I understood it right how the whole thing will work, so please correct me where I am wrong: the owner will host everything (including the product itself) on his own domain. Now, if a reseller pays the fee, he will not get the product, but a link towards the owner's site, where the end user customers will find the payment page. The product will be on sale at the value specified by the owner. Is it so?

If I was right, I have the following questions:
a.) Will the reseller be able to upload his own sale page template? If so, most probable the reseller will need the payment link / script accommodated by the owner?
b.) What about the end user payments? They will go over the distribution site’s scripts, but the beneficiary will be the reseller’s account?
c.) What if the reseller wants to increase and not to decrease the price?
d.) Is there any licensing mechanism in place to forbid the reseller to get the product via and additional end user payment and so, to bypass the distribution pages?

I ask these questions in order for me to really understand how the system works and how / if I can use it forward.

Yes, that's a pretty good summary.

No, all resellers share the sames sales page, but they each
have a unique referrer URL.

Yes, the reseller will get 100% of the payment.

The price is fixed by the product owner and the reseller
cannot either increase or decrease the price.

The product is only available from the owners site and
can only be bought through an authorised reseller's
URL.

Each product would need to have its own
installation. So you could set each product
on its own domain, in a directory or on a
sub-domain.
