READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING

I have been getting flooded with emails from customers having problems using this software with Windows Vista 64 bit. If you are running Vista64, you will need to do the following to get it to work:

Install the updated version of Windows Installer:

And a patch for SQLCE:

And sometimes, you have disable UAC as well:

As much as I hate to say this, if this seems like a lot of work, you're better off not purchasing the software at all. I will refund the money, but if you run Vista64 and want to give this a try, please follow the steps above.

This is not a problem with my software, it is an issue with Microsoft .net and the support provided for Vista64.

Honestly, if you're a marketer using your computer for business purposes, Vista64 may not be the best choice for you. Most new software written uses the .net framework, and over half the marketing programs out there use it. Even if you don't take these steps when installing Twadder or Social Blaster, you'll end up needing to do it anyway for future software you purchase.

To be frank: Microsoft's support for Vista64 and the .Net framework (their own software) SUCKS. The performance of Vista64 is unstable as well. The driver compatibility and over system stability leaves much to be desired. Some people use it without any issues whatsoever, but most of the people I've talked to end up uninstalling it and going to a more stable 32 bit version.

I know for a fact that larger organizations do not allow the installation of Vista64 because of it's relative instability and increased calls to their IT departments. If you value your time, you should really consider using the more stable 32 bit version of Vista. As a small business owner every minute counts, and minutes spent tinkering with this shoddy operating system take away from time spent building your business. When Windows7 comes out, I think the 64 bit support will be much better.

Not in this release, but it will be coming. I will post in this thread when it's available. I am just finishing up a big update with my Twitter software, and then I'm going to work on this one.

I welcome any suggestions or requests you guys might have for this software. Right now the Multi-account storage is a definite and the account creator is a strong maybe. Any other suggestions I'd be glad to hear them!

I'm not sure what the difference between using this software and something like Onlywire.com. With Onlywire you put in your login details to about 30 social sites I think. Then you can add a button to Firefox and press and submit instantly whatever page you like.

I'm looking to automate as much as possible, I am just not sure if I understand the difference between this software and something like Onlywire.

Honestly, I dont think this is the product for you. I'm sure there are some Portuguese visitors to these sites, but they're certainly not the majority. These social sites are primarily english speaking people. While some of them might find something they have to have, and see it on your site and buy anyway in my opinion that's a longshot.

I did a quick search and I wasn't able to find any Portuguese speaking social media sites... which brings me to an idea. Maybe this is a good niche for you to pursue. Have you thought about that?

Portuguese is the sixth most spoken language in the world. If you had a site that was strictly portuguese and catered to linking to portuguese sites, I think you'd really have something. Social Media is not strictly an American thing, though most sites are in English. I would think those who localized their efforts could probably come into something great.

So in short, no my software may not be for you, but this is an idea you should consider for sure.

ORKUT:
Orkut is not very used in 95% of the countries in the world. It is concentrated in Brazil and India (if I am not wrong).

But I can create an account in Orkut and write in english, japanese or what else I want. I will not get banned for this.

I think you are right.

One thing you did not write (maybe think) is: IF PORTUGUESE is the 6th most spoken languase, so.. I will have less competitor (6 times) than if I was trying to use english, for example.


I have a big difficult to use the ARTICLE submiting strategy to get SUBLINKS because all my articles are in portuguese and some of these directories do not accept PORTUGUESE articles.

Maybe, social media can be a good choice to change this scenario.

30 social medias can give me something more than 100 sublinks (i think), maybe more.
