Sorry to tell you this guys but he has scammed us.

Both my paypal chargebacks have failed and now I am officially out of $190.

I don't know if he ever had an intention of giving us what we paid for, but it certainly has all the smells of a scam.

I paid him over 4 months ago, after trying to contact him he gave me an excuse about how his son was having problems or something(which is OK so I gave him some slack). 3 months after that and not a word from Steve, I am now thinking he doesn't even have a son and was just using that as' an excuse to buy him some time for the paypal transactions to expire.

Still no response to my refund requests - he's pretty much dropped off the face of the earth.

He did send me some fake BS report via email that was BCCed out to his entire list. All it included was a short list of .coms and .nets with the word 'completed' next to them.

It included no exact URLs as to where my links were posted, so I am 100% certain that all he did was make up some crap list in excel and send the same thing out to his entire list of clients.

Smells like a scam, looks like a scam, feels like a scam, probably is a scam.

I would like to say that it's not a scam, as I've received a few orders successfully from Steve. But I guess if you've waited four months and not had anything then that's pretty bad.

I'm not sure what's gone wrong, as Steve seemed like a stand up guy. Ok, I had to chase a couple of orders, and the last one I got had dead links and no follows, but I have also had some quality work off him, and didn't have him down as an actual scammer.

I hope Steve reads this and gives you your money back, and sorts out the outstanding orders.

I'm sure he had some sort of good intentions when he started the thread. Maybe he was able to deliver what he promised earlier.

But whatever happened, he is gone, MIA now.

It's OK if you have problems...but what it really boils down to is what you do to resolve them.

Sending a bogus report is not the solution.

Ignoring my refund requests is not the solution.

I wouldn't be surprised if all our money has been spent seeing how he has completed disappeared.

I guess I am just mad that I have been robbed of nearly $200. I mean, who wouldn't be?

Yeah, unfortunately I've had to put in a chargeback on my last order. Just seems like a real shame when I know that Steve was capable of delivering.

Did you get a reason from Paypal why your chargeback was unsuccessul Daniel?

Yes I requested refunds & no, I lost the cases; if you are thinking to get this service then first read this, it may save you money and a lot of irritation.

I just got from paypal that i lost two months fee about this disastrous membership, that does not deliver; paypal says the following:

I canceled to late my second month, did it right after my fee was deducted.

I got nothing delivered except for the bonus, the 200 directory links & 50 social links. for the rest ZILCH, NADA!


This is the answer that I got back from Steve through paypal after creating the disputes:

Sorry, I had been hospitalized. 80% of work has been completed, and a report showing progress had already been sent. I will finish resolving this with buyer. Also, wanted to point out that this is a service that is provided, and once work has been started on or done, it can not be undone. This is payment for my time to complete all this service work. Buyer still requesting refund on a physical service that is being provided and can not be undone, as I already stated. There is no physical product, only a virtual service provided on the internet, that can not just be undone. I regret that I can not grant a refund for all my time and work involved, and the benefit the buyer receives from my work on this
service.

I never received any report and it seems hard to create also 80% of the work for the second month because I canceled that the same day and opened the disputes.

When I replied again, he immediately escalated the dispute to a claim, and uses the option : Package Status: Paid for service not a product tracking # n/a

And then paypal rules as shown above.

It costed me $90 while I though I had a good deal, but it was really a bad buy

So i just want to inform all that are already in this & warn anyone thinking of using this service, Don't! you will loose your money and you will not get delivered anything by Steve

Better find another service but don't pay 1 cent to Steve, he will not deliver and he will win the cases because he probably is specialized in it.

What is very strange is that Steve can reply to disputes at paypal and escalate disputes to claims while he does not respond in this thread anymore - he replied to me and escalated the claim on November 25th 2009. Just so all involved know that he is still there, silently

Yeah, I agree with riddle. I lost my PayPal case. Thankfully for only one month. Got the same bs from Steve as a reply to my PayPal dispute... absolutely verbatim.

Seems the guy has either a very sick family... earlier he was talking about how his son was in surgery, that was his first excuse. Now he's been in the hospital or he's a liar. That's my opinion as even a dude who's been so sick would follow up by now and hasn't.

I also lost my PayPal case and PayPal sent me a message which is also verbatim to what riddle's said.

This was definitely a scam as far as I'm concerned. I hope that in this forum there is a way to disable his IP address from offering services again. I don't think he should be allowed to scam anyone again... just sayin'
