Well I just filed a paypal dispute for my transaction. I didn't bother sending Floyd a PM because I still not get a reply from my last PM. I'll let you guys know how that goes, worse case scenario I might have have to file a chargeback with American Express.

You really shouldn't force a chargeback on your CC because paypal won't like it. Paypal has always been great for me in disputes. If several people fill disputes they generaly realise there is something wrong with the marchant and honor them.

As Floyd has failed to meet every single one of his own benchmarks, has provided no evidence of work being performed, is no longer responding to this thread, and has not answered my PM request for a refund ... I am left with no choice but to dispute the payment with Paypal.

Made a paypal dispute under 'unauthorized' as i found that normally gets more of a refund chance than a normal dispute and it has been closed by paypal!

Floyd i expect to get a full refund or instead full proof that you have added 1 month + worth of backlinks to my site within 3 days (72 hours). If not im sure admin will step in and make sure you don't try and diddle anyone else out of money.

I've always used "item not received"... I tried "unauthorized" but always unsure what to put for the report:

This is both shocking and sad that this guy can get away with this kind of scam. I have a filed a dispute with Paypal to receive a refund. Like everyone else, I never received any communication past his request for payment. No link report, no rankings increase and no sign of any work at all being carried out.

Well I filed a Paypal Dispute 5 days ago and he finally replied. Here's a copy of our exchange messages, I've remove my domain and keyword from the messages for personal reasons, but still no refund.

I've not escalated the dispute to paypal, he said that he would refund me the money once I send over the domain. But everything still smell fishy to me, because more then a month ago he said he had my report, now he does not want the animosity.

I will keep you guys posted, but don't wait for my outcome to file a paypal dispute.

responsible for that. However if you would like
us to fix that, I would be happy to do so if you
drop your dispute and let us finish our job...

I understand if you don't want to but you are
taking no risk as you can always reinstate
your dispute later. Just a thought."

As far as I know there is no turning back once your drop a dispute. I'm going to investigate this and then send an answer. Anyone got a similar answer??

Sorry, but it just doesn't work that way in the real world. Having the dispute on his Paypal file shouldn't stop him from finishing his job.

Few months ago I purchased a $900 SEO service, nothing was done - I requested for a refund, he gave me the run-arounds... then I escalated the dispute, made his acct frozen, he begged me to drop it, I said no, then he cursed at me, then begged me again, then cursed at me again. *LOL*

I also filed a chargeback with my credit card (luckily I funded using my credit card)... he finally gave the money back to me after more than 1 month of ordeal.

Im guessing there have been about 10 or so of us who purchased this and so thats $200 X 10 = $2000 for just putting this thread up and no other work!

Shame he didn't actually do the work as i was ready to promote this and get him 100's of clients every month if he had kept his promise!

Now im glad i tested this out before telling anyone to use him.

I has also set aside a budget of $2000 to pay him to do 10 more sites of mine for alot less competitive terms too.

Oh well! You win some you loose some!

Likewise Tom, I had about 40 keywords I was going to go for using this service, so he's lost out on an immediate $2000 and guarnateed long term business.

He has sent me the same message on Paypal that he will refund after I forward my domain and keywords. I have since done this....

This is in direct contradiction to a PM he sent me several weeks ago in which he wrote:

"While I automate as much as I can, it is never a one day, 30 second hit of hundreds of backlinks ..."

After seeing numerous warning signs on this wso, I requested a refund on 4th September by PM. On the 5th, I noticed that the OP had posted to another thread but ignored my PM so I filed a dispute at paypal.

This was replied to, but not to my satisfaction so after thinking about it for a few days, I again requested a refund via PM.

I received my refund the next day.

This should have been a great wso for all concerned and I too had further work lined up for him.

I realise that any process can have problems but not to come here and explain means that people will draw their own conclusions ...

I hope everyone gets this resolved, one way or another.

I'm glad to hear you got your refund. I filed a Paypal dispute last week. He responded saying to give him the URL and keywords and he would gladly refund the money. I did that. 3 days later, still no refund.

So, I have till Oct 6 to escalate to a Paypal claim. After that, my last resort is a credit card charge back.

What do you all think, should I escalate right away to a Paypal claim or give him a few more days to refund the money?

I don't really consider this being a con. Most people here can fill a chargeback. It's pretty stupid to run a con while the payment is done by a credit card.
